Preparedness is our first line of defense! 🛡️

Samson Bengson Elementary School conducted an Orientation on Active Threat to strengthen awareness, enhance preparedness, and equip teachers and school personnel with the knowledge and appropriate response procedures during emergency situations.

Through this initiative, we continue to promote a safe, secure, and prepared learning environment for everyone.

Safety starts with awareness. Preparedness saves lives! 💙

In lieu of the DepEd No.23, s. 2015, Samson-Bengzon Elementary School formed a School Watching Team among the different organizations such as Supreme Elementary Learner Government Officers (SELG). These pupils attended 2-Day Meeting for awareness purposes and preparedness regarding this call.

On the first day, the team listened as the School Watching and Hazard Mapping Moderator, and also the SELG Teacher Adviser, and School Coordinator in Learner Rights and Protection--- Ma’am Jessica P. De Guzman inspired the learners do their tasks accordingly. The SDRRM Coordinator Sir Marlowe D. Mamaril informed them of their functions and reminded them of the things they should bring or do during the monitoring of the said activity.

As a leader, it is a great help to monitor the risk factors or identify the hazard places or event things within the school premises to further give an utmost solution to the problem. In facing such things leaders must have a courage and determination to pursue their goals.
