JCI Lingayen Bagoong successfully conducted its Board of Directors Meeting to discuss organizational updates, upcoming projects, financial matters, and strategic plans that will strengthen our impact in the community.

JCI Lingayen Bagoong proudly participated in the 2nd Regional Council Meeting hosted by JCI Rosales Padyak, joining fellow Local Organizations across the Pangasinan Region in a day dedicated to collaboration, learning, and service.

Representing our Local Organization were President **Melisa Mae D. De Guzman, Internal Vice President Mary Lee, and Secretary Benhur.

The council meeting also featured the Regional Launch of Hearty Healthy Philippines, highlighting our collective commitment to advancing health, wellness, and sustainable community development.

As we continue to exchange ideas, strengthen regional ties, and embrace opportunities for growth, we remain committed to empowering young leaders and creating meaningful impact in every community we serve.

Together, we move the Pangasinan Region forward—one leader, one project, and one community at a time.

TUNGKOD Year 2: Medical and Dental Mission | Mapita, Aguilar, Pangasinan

Serving the seniors and students of Mapita, Aguilar, Pangasinan, TUNGKOD Year 2 brought accessible healthcare through a meaningful partnership with the dedicated doctors, nurses, and staff of Lingayen District Hospital.

The mission provided free on-site laboratory services, free medical check-ups, and free medicines, ensuring that every beneficiary received the care and attention they deserve. Through unity and compassion, we continue to uplift communities and promote a healthier future for all.

𝘽𝙖𝙜𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙃𝙤𝙥𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝙈𝙖𝙥𝙞𝙩𝙖

The Bags of Hope in Mapita initiative, together with JJC Lingayen Golden Lions, brought joy to 40 Kinder to Grade 2 learners through the distribution of school bags and essential supplies. To further inspire the children, we also conducted the “Dear Future Me” activity, encouraging them to dream boldly, write messages to their future selves, and reflect on the aspirations they hope to achieve. More than providing educational materials, the initiative nurtured confidence, self-expression, and hope, reminding every child that their community believes in their potential and supports their journey toward a brighter future.

Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) is a cornerstone of a safe and prosperous community. In line with this commitment, JCI Lingayen Bagoong, in collaboration with Mapita Integrated School, recently held an insightful educational session on Disasters, Types of Hazards, and Thematic Areas of Disaster Risk Reduction and Management.

This collaboration between Mapita Integrated School and JCI Lingayen Bagoong is a testament to the power of partnership in fostering a safer and more resilient future. The educational session is just the beginning of a continued effort to build awareness, capacity, and action in disaster risk reduction and management.

We are proud to share that members of JCI Lingayen Bagoong—Secretary Benhur Marc R. Dee Verzosa,Treasurer Mark Kennedy Flores and President Melisa Mae De Guzman, —successfully completed the 4-day Community-Based Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (CBDRRM) Training held for Batch 3.

The training, organized by the Office of Civil Defense Region I, took place from June 3 to 6, 2026, at Hotel Consuelo Resort in Lingayen, Pangasinan.

The Community-Based Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (CBDRRM) Training, conducted by the Office of Civil Defense (OCD) Region I, was specifically designed to foster local resilience by directly involving key community leaders and youth representatives.

Training key officers from organizations, the initiative equips community-level organizations to share disaster resilience knowledge, amplifying the training's impact within their constituencies. This intensive program equipped our leaders with vital knowledge and skills in disaster management. We're pleased to share that our representatives completed the Post-Examination and received their certifications, and we're ready to bring this knowledge back to our community.

Thank you, Local Youth Development Office of Lingayen, Pangasinan Provincial Office, and Office of Civil Defense Region I, for this empowering experience! Together, we continue to promote a safer and more disaster-resilient nation.

We are honored to have gathered so many advocates and young leaders to foster inclusivity and awareness at Pangasinan National High School.

This flagship Pride Month program brought together students, educators, and community leaders for a meaningful day of learning, advocacy, and celebration at Pangasinan National High School.
