Once again, Pangasinan State University students have humbly made their mark in the Top 1–10 of the mock examinations, with several of our own shining in the Top 5. 🙏✨

Sino ba ang mga taga‑PSU na yan? Lagi na lang kasama sa listahan ng topnotchers—pero higit sa lahat, they remind us that success comes from steady effort, teamwork, and faith in the process. 💙

We extend our heartfelt thanks to ERTC Echelon Review and Training Center Review Center for their tireless effort and quality review service. For three years now, this partnership has been a blessing in preparing our students to excel and, with God’s grace, ace the Social Worker Licensure Examination.

LOOK BACK | PSU–Lingayen Social Work Field Practitioners Conclude Deployment with Project Implementations and Exit Conferences

On December 13, 2025 to December 26, 2025 The Fourth-Year Bachelor of Science in Social Work student practitioners of Pangasinan State University – Lingayen Campus successfully crossed another major milestone through the presentation of their Group Case Study Reports and the defense of their Agency Project Implementations. Moving beyond individual school-based case conferences, these final defenses and exit conferences highlighted the power of collective effort, showcasing sustainable programs and interventions designed to support specific client groups, and individuals.

The culmination was made deeply meaningful by the presence of esteemed agency heads and immediate supervisors, who joined the Field Instructions Unit Instructors for the exit conferences. Having the very mentors who guided the student practitioners on the ground witness the final presentations added a profound layer of professional pride and accountability, as groups turned over projects designed to directly enhance agency service.

From planning and executing vital groupwork sessions to building specialized resource projects, the dedicated teamwork across assignments proved that coordinated group effort is the backbone of effective social work practice. The exit conferences served as a space for mutual gratitude, constructive feedback, and a celebration of the lasting impact left within the partner agencies. Deepest appreciation and heartfelt thanks go to our partner agencies, their dedicated agency heads, and the immediate supervisors for opening their doors, sharing their wisdom, and molding these social work interns during their Field Instruction I placement into competent future professionals.

LOOK BACK | Elevating Competence: PSU–Lingayen Social Work Field Practitioners Face Panel Defense in November Case Conferences

From November 4 to 5, 2025, the Field Instruction Unit Conference Room became a space of intense professional dialogue as the Department of Social Work conducted its scheduled Case Conferences for the Fourth-Year Bachelor of Science in Social Work students. This crucial milestone is designed to evaluate and elevate the analytical, and ethical skills of our student practitioners before they step out into the professional sphere.
Facing the panel in their semi-formal attire, the social work field practitioners proudly stood to present and defend their individual Social Case Study Reports, showcasing the meaningful interventions they delivered to clients across various placements, including the People's Recovery, Empowerment and Development Assistance Home for Girls, the Department of Health-Treatment and Rehabilitation Center, the Pangasinan Provincial Hospital, the Mangatarem District Hospital, the Home for Girls Region 1, Regional Rehabilitation Center for Youth (RRCY) I, the Haven Regional Center for Women, The Haven–Regional Center for Children (TH-RCC) I, and the Area Vocational Rehabilitation Center 1. Each presentation seamlessly bridged months of intense, hands-on fieldwork with an academic defense of client advocacy, empowerment, and systemic change.

Every case brought to the table was far more than just paperwork or requirment; it was a testament to the real-world struggles, resilience, and breakthroughs experienced alongside the clients and families who trusted them. The conferences fostered rich discussions on ethical decision-making, critical thinking, and the diverse approaches needed to advance human rights.

The road to the license continues. Onward, future Registered Social Workers! ⚖️🌱
