ENHS wins multiple titles at Municipal Math Fest
Estanza National High School (ENHS) turned in a strong performance at the Municipal Math Fest held at Lasip NHS on February 23, producing six division qualifiers and capturing multiple first-place finishes.
Four students topped the Math Relay competition in their respective grade levels. Carl Francis A. Erestain (Grade 7) under Coach Manuel L. Ferrer, Princess Xian C. Albino (Grade 8) under Coach Bernardina S. Parras, John U. Aquino (Grade 9) under Coach Genny T. Delos Santos, and Johans Miguel F. Soquila (Grade 10) under Coach Josephine B. Ramos each secured 1st Place, earning automatic qualification to the division level.
In the Tower of Hanoi event, Isabela G. Dela Vega (Grade 8), coached by Bernardina S. Parras, placed 3rd to qualify for the next round. Combined with the four Math Relay champions, this brought ENHSโ total division qualifiers to six.
Other notable finishes in the Tower of Hanoi category included Brian Bolasoc (Grade 7), 5th Place; Analita Pe C. Castolero (Grade 9), 4th Place; and Angela Nicole G. Alipoyo (Grade 10), 5th Place.
In the special categories, Marilou G. Alipoyo won 1st Place in the Tower of Hanoi Parent Category, while James S. Vallejos captured 1st Place in the Teacher Category. Both were coached by Maria Vilma V. Ocampo.
In the Rubikโs Cube event, Prince John Bautista (Grade 8) placed 3rd, while Nigel D. Aquino (Grade 9) and John Lloyd G. Soriano (Grade 10) both finished 4th in their respective categories.
Zandelou V. Ocampo also represented ENHS in the Grade 7 individual category and secured 5th Place under Coach Manuel L. Ferrer.
The six division qualifiers will represent Estanza National High School in the upcoming Division Math Fest scheduled on March 6.
