ICYMI: WPI Marks 7th Foundation Day With Student-Led Activities

Booths, games, music, and film screenings highlighted West Philippines Institute’s (WPI) 7th Foundation Day on Sept. 21, with the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) and student clubs leading the festivities.

The celebration formally opened at the Function Room, where Academic Head Christian Ludovico thanked the school’s clubs and organizations for their tireless efforts in preparing the activities. Principal Aurea Parbo also delivered an inspirational message, encouraging the WPI community to embrace the spirit of unity and participation.

School President Hermilina Andaya, who was unable to attend the opening ceremony, sent her warm greetings and well wishes to the entire WPI community as it marked the institution’s seventh year.

After weeks of preparation, Alpha Club, Peer Council, E=mc² Club, and BYTE Club rolled out their respective attractions, including a photobooth, Jenga and karaoke, Science Arcade, and film screening. Meanwhile, the SSLG opened its MaGUESSSTIC Booth featuring Charot Cards, Guess the Color Behind the Box, and Meaning Ribbon Bracelets.

The celebration, originally scheduled for Aug. 5, was postponed due to successive weather disturbances but pushed through as students gathered to sing, play, and take part in the school’s seven-year celebration.

The activities highlighted student participation, creativity, and camaraderie as the WPI community marked another milestone in the institution’s journey.

SCHEDULE OF FIRST TERM GRADES VIEWING, CLEARANCE SIGNING, SECOND TERM ENLISTMENT, AND DISTRIBUTION OF SECOND TERM CLASS PROGRAM

West Philippines Institute hereby announces the schedule for the First Term Grades Viewing, Clearance Signing, Second Term Enlistment, and Distribution of the Second Term Class Program for all concerned students.

Students are expected to report to the school according to the schedule assigned to their respective sections. All students are advised to observe the designated time strictly and complete the required procedures within the scheduled period.

WHAT TO PREPARE/BRING:
1. Clearance
2. Student handbook
3. Library card
4. ID Card
5. Certificate of Registration (COR)
6. Statement of Account (SOA)
7. Ballpen

PROCESS:
1. Clearance Signing
a. Accounting – Prepare SOA
b. Guidance – Prepare Student Handbook
c. Library – Prepare Library Card and Memorize the WPI HYMN
d. MC/Laboratory – Prepare ID and 1 Sachet of Detergent Powder
e. Registrar – Prepare first term COR and Claim your first term grade

2. Enlistment
a. Fill out PRE-ASSESSMENT FORM
b. Registrar – Claim your new Certificate of Registration and New Class Program
