: Malacañang, through Proclamation No. 368, has designated November 1 as a special non-working day in observance of All Saints' Day and November 2 in observance of All Souls' Day. These days are traditionally set aside for families to gather and honor their departed loved ones.

In addition, Malacañang has also issued Memorandum Circular No. 67, suspending work in government offices and classes at all levels on October 31 starting 12:00 o'clock noon.

In line with this Memorandum Circular, Silliman University suspends all classes in the afternoon of October 31, Thursday. Meanwhile, essential offices will operate on skeleton workforce.

Classes and regular university operations will resume on November 4, 2024.
