Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

MUSSECO Block is an eco-friendly hollow block developed using mussel shells (Perna viridis), scrap rubber, and gum tragacanth (Astragalus gummifer) as alternative materials in hollow block production. The project aims to reduce the dependence on conventional construction materials while promoting the reuse of waste materials such as discarded mussel shells and scrap rubber. The developed hollow blocks are formulated using different material ratios and are evaluated based on their compressive strength, water absorption, and thermal resistance. Through this project, the researchers aim to determine whether MUSSECO Block can serve as a potential, sustainable, and practical alternative to conventional hollow blocks while helping reduce construction-related waste and environmental impact.
