The official commencement of our exciting "Grow a Garden" initiative. The project began recently with a flurry of activity as learners gathered to plan and transform designated areas into their future garden plots.

The initial phase saw teams from every section engaging in detailed planning sessions, where creativity flourished. Learners and advisers mapped out their plots, decided on which diverse vegetable plants would thrive, drafted strategies for sustainable care &immediately broke the ground. The crafting of the garden plots has begun in earnest. Each section implemented unique layouts and prepared their garden beds.

This was the vital foundational stage. It teaches the essential elements of project management, physical labor, annd knowledge necessary for a successful harvest. We are inspired by the dedication shown by everyone as they transition their ideas from paper to tangible garden spaces.

We arr also proud to announce that aside frpm the Parol Making Vontest, our highly anticipated "Grow a Garden" project was also conducted. This initiative was designed to promote sustainable practices, and beautify our school shared environment.

The participation across all sections/grade levels was envouraged transforming various areas of our school into vibrant, thriving vegetable gardens. The teamwork displayed by every participant have been truly commendable.

Each section collaborated closely to design, plant, and maintain their unique garden plots. The results are a testament to their hard work, showcasing a diverse array of healthy vegetable plants. From leafy greens and root vegetables to climbing beans.

This initiative achieved far more than just growing plants; it provided invaluable, hands-on learning experiences about
teaamwork, responsibility and inspiring our community.

The beautiful gardens serve as a source of pride and an inspiration for sustainable living. We hope these green spaces encourage everyone to consider growing their own produce, no matter how small the space.

We extend our sincere gratitude to all the learners, advisers and judges who made this project a resounding success.

We look forward with great anticipation to the upcoming harvest from these gardens. The eventual reaping of these fresh, homegrown vegetables will be the culmination, allowing us all to literally taste the fruits of our labor and enjoy the benefits of healthy eating right from our own grounds.

The YES-O/SCIENCE CLUB is proud to announce the successful conduct of our Parol Making Contest, as part of the Science Month Celebration & a heartwarming event that beautifully combined Filipino tradition with a modern commitment to environmental stewardship.

This competition challenged participants to craft these iconic Filipino lanterns exclusively from recycled plastic bottles showcasing remarkable ingenuity and artistic talent while reinforcing the vital message of the 3 Rs - Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle.

The entries were nothing short of spectacular, transforming everyday waste into dazzling works of art that now illuminate our premises. Each parol served as a powerful reminder of what we can achieve when creativity meets a conscience.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations and recognition to all participants and judges for their exceptional efforts. Your dedication highlights the positive impact of sustainable practices and serves as a beacon of inspiration for us all to protect our planet.

The Sci-Month celebration was a blast! Our YES-O/Science Club organization successfully conducted a series of exciting activities that showcased the wonders of science in a fun and challenging way!
Sci-Mazing Race/Scavenger Hunt as the highlight. Our learners participated in a variety of activities that tested their scientific skills, teamwork, and creativity. From the mudcrawl challenge to the DNA puzzle challenge, every station was a thrilling experience!
Some of the activities included:
📌Mudcrawl challenge that gets the learnes messy but at the same time learning about geology and the spirit of strategy.
📌Memory challenge that tested thei brains and memories by reciting the different terms in scientific world.
📌Balance Beam challenge showcasing balance and focus.
📌Sudoku that let them exercise or practice their logical thinking
📌DNA Puzzle challenge which unravela the mysteries of genetics familiarizing them the concepts in genetivs
📌Spider Web Rope Crossing that buiilds teamwork and trust
📌Water Relay Challenge which emonstrates the power of teamwork.
📌Microscopy that let them explore the microscopic world .
📌Balloon acceleration challenge to let the learners learn about aerodynamics and motion.

Every students enjoyed every moment, learned new concepts, and developed essential skills like teamwork, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
Congratulations for a job well done to our YES-O/Science Club organization for putting together such an amazing celebration! Your hard work, collaboration, cooperation, and unity in organizing such event have inspired a love for science in our learners, and we couldn't be prouder! “Lost & Found!” ay apo launay!!

Today, the Yes-O, BSP, Science, SSLG(collaboration) came together as one team to do our part for the environment by segregating waste properly. Through teamwork, effort, and shared responsibility, we learned that even small actions—like sorting plastics, bottles, and biodegradable waste—can make a big difference in creating a cleaner and greener community. Our school proudly joined the International Coastal Clean-Up Drive together with the SSLG, YES-O, Science Club, and Boy Scouts of the Philippines, with the help of Ma’am Fina Marie Bannawag and Ma’am Rodora S. It was wonderful to have taken part in our first meeting of the year today! We are starting an incredible journey to ensure our school improves in both cleanliness and environmental friendliness. We aim to be environmentally friendly and responsible children, and so we have planned activities such as awareness programs, cleaning drives, recycling, and even tree planting.

The little things we have taken the initiative to do; reduce the use of plastic, maintain classroom cleanliness, and tree planting will yield great returns in the long run. We will turn LIDLIDDA NHS school into a school of great discipline, great responsibility, and great love for nature.

With the participation of the whole school, we can begin our journey to achieving a school that is green, clean, and healthy.
