DANCE CONTESTS 💃🕺
1️⃣ GROUP BALLROOM DANCE

Batches 1968–1979

Guidelines:

1. Each group must have at least 6 members.

2. Performance time: 3–5 minutes.

3. Music: Ballroom (Cha-cha, Rumba, Waltz, Tango, Jive, Samba, Quickstep).

4. Props are allowed if safe.

5. Costumes must be coordinated, decent, and age-appropriate.

6. Lifts are allowed if safe and controlled.

7. Participants must be registered before the competition.

8. Groups must be ready backstage 10 minutes before their turn.

9. Judges’ decisions are final and binding.

Judging Criteria:

Choreography & Creativity – 30%

Technique & Timing – 25%

Coordination & Synchronization – 20%

Costume & Stage Presence – 15%

Overall Impact – 10%

2️⃣ LINE DANCE

Batches 1980–1989

Guidelines:

1. Each group must have at least 6 members.

2. Performance time: 3–5 minutes.

3. Music: Any upbeat or danceable genre.

4. Props are optional but must be safe.

5. Costumes should be coordinated and appropriate.

6. Dance must be performed in line formation and synchronized.

7. Participants must be registered before the event.

8. Groups must be ready backstage 10 minutes before their turn.

9. Judges’ decisions are final and binding.

Judging Criteria:

Choreography & Creativity – 30%

Synchronization & Coordination – 25%

Energy & Stage Presence – 20%

Costume & Appearance – 15%

Overall Impact – 10%

3️⃣ TUNOG SA KALYE DANCE CONTEST

Batches 1990–1999

Guidelines:

1. Each group must have at least 4 members.

2. Performance time: 3–5 minutes.

3. Music: Street-inspired, upbeat, contemporary.

4. Props are optional but must be safe.

5. Costumes must be coordinated and appropriate.

6. Dance must be energetic and in sync with music.

7. Participants must be registered before the contest.

8. Groups must be ready backstage 10 minutes before their turn.

9. Judges’ decisions are final and binding.

Judging Criteria:

Choreography & Creativity – 30%

Synchronization & Coordination – 25%

Energy & Stage Presence – 20%

Costume & Appearance – 15%

6. Participants must be registered before the event.
