𝐍𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐚𝐧 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 successfully held its 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐓𝐀 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐲 cm 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐀𝐝𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 (𝐒𝐎𝐒𝐀) on 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟐, gathering parents, teachers, and school officials for an afternoon of transparency, updates, and strengthened school–community partnership.

The program began with the 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦 and 𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 led by 𝐀𝐕𝐏, followed by the 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐬 of 𝐒𝐚𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐥𝐢 𝐈. 𝐊𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐚, 𝐏𝐓𝐀 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭, who emphasized the importance of parent involvement in sustaining school programs. An 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐠𝐞 from 𝐑𝐞𝐲 𝐃𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐚𝐲, 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧, highlighted continued support from the local community.

During the 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫, 𝐒𝐚𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐥𝐢 𝐈. 𝐊𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐚 presented updates on the implemented programs, while 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐚, 𝐏𝐓𝐀 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐫, delivered the official financial report. Additional financial updates were shared by 𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐚 𝐉. 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬, 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐫, and 𝐍𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐏. 𝐁𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫 together with 𝐉𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐀𝐥 𝐍𝐢𝐜𝐨 𝐒. 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐬𝐨𝐬𝐨 for the canteen operations.

The highlight of the assembly was the 𝐒𝐎𝐒𝐀 delivered by 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐢𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐨 𝐂. 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐳, who presented the school’s accomplishments, ongoing projects, and future goals for improving instruction, facilities, and student welfare.

This was followed by an 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐮𝐦 facilitated by 𝐆𝐞𝐲𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞 𝐁. 𝐕𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚, giving parents the opportunity to raise concerns and clarify school-related matters. 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐬 were delivered by 𝐁𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐧 𝐀. 𝐁𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐨, 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥, and the event formally ended with a 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫 led by 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐞 𝐑. 𝐒𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐚.

The program was smoothly guided by the 𝐄𝐦𝐜𝐞𝐞, 𝐑𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐨 𝐒. 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐨, ensuring the event was organized and engaging for all attendees.

The event gathered teachers, parents, and learners in a moment filled with pride and inspiration, highlighting the school’s unwavering commitment to academic excellence.

Patuloy na isinasagawa ang programa upang magbigay-daan sa mas maraming kabataan na magkaroon ng dagdag na pagkakataong matuto. Sa pamamagitan ng mga g**o at katuwang sa paaralan, nagiging posible ang mas epektibong 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 at mga gawaing pang-akademiko na nakatutulong sa paglinang ng kaalaman at paghubog ng tiwala sa sarili ng mga mag-aaral.

“𝐀𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐋 𝐚𝐲 𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐢 𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐚𝐠𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐨 𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐞𝐤𝐬𝐲𝐨𝐧, 𝐤𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐢 𝐩𝐚𝐠𝐛𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐲𝐨𝐧,” ayon sa pananaw ng paaralan. Sa ganitong diwa, ipinapakita ng programa na ang pagkatuto ay higit pa sa kaalaman—ito ay hakbang tungo sa mas maliwanag na kinabukasan.

Dagdag pa rito, mariing pinaninindigan ng paaralan ang adhikaing “Walang batang maiiwan basta’t may paggabay at aral na handog.” Sa pamamagitan ng pagtutulungan ng mga g**o at suporta ng komunidad, nananatiling matatag ang kanilang paniniwala na bawat mag-aaral ay may kakayahang umangat at magtagumpay.

Higit pa sa pagbibigay ng kaalaman, ang 𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐋 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 ay nagsisilbing ilaw at gabay para sa mga kabataan ng Nicaan High School. Sa bawat aral na natutunan, may panibagong pag-asa na nagbubukas.

‎“When learning is given a second chance, it becomes the first step toward brighter possibilities.” With this inspiring thought, Nicaan High School officially launched the 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 (𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐋) Program on 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 26, 2025 , at the 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐋𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐞 , a new initiative designed to help learners rebuild and strengthen their academic foundation.

‎The program opened with the 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦 (𝐀𝐕𝐏) and an 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫 led by Ma’am Imme L. Villaganas , MT-I , followed by a warm 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐀𝐝𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 from Mr. James Alnico S. Mistoso , T-III/NSHEA President. From the start , the atmosphere reflected unity and commitment to student growth.

‎A highlight of the event was the 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐋 𝐓𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐬 delivered by Sir Mario C. Benitez , Principal I , who emphasized that the program serves as a guiding light for students in need of extra support. This was followed by the 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐑𝐨𝐨𝐦 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 by Ma’am Helia J. Dellomes, T-III , ensuring that learners and mentors were ready to begin their journey. The inspiring 𝐏𝐥𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 , led by SK Chairman Clyde Jemhel D. Amoyoc , further solidified the shared dedication of both students and community leaders.

‎The event concluded with 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐬 from Ma’am Belen A. Bolanio, HT-III , and was smoothly hosted by Ma’am Honeylynne G. Torres, T-I.

‎Behind the launch of the ARAL Program is a story of partnership and shared purpose. 𝐍𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐚𝐧 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥, together with the 𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬 and the 𝐒𝐊 𝐅𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐍𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐚𝐧, joined hands to bring the initiative to life. Their collaboration reflected a powerful truth—that education thrives best when the whole community works as one, extending support beyond the walls of the classroom.

𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰'𝐬 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬: 𝐒𝐒𝐋𝐆 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐒𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐍𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐚𝐧 𝐇𝐒

The Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) of Nicaan High School successfully spearheaded a School-Based Leadership Training with the theme “Leadership 4.0: Ethical Influence in a Connected World” on September 12, 2025, at the Nicaan High School Student Lounge. The training gathered a total of 45 participants, composed of SSLG officers and classroom mayors, in an activity designed to enhance leadership skills, instill values, and prepare student leaders for the challenges of a connected world.

Distinguished speakers—Sir Jonel Dacillo Ramirez, Sir Jade Ganding, and Sir Kim Anthony Cadungog Dacoroon—shared valuable insights and inspiration, reminding student leaders to serve with integrity and lead with purpose. Their powerful statements, such as “If you fail to plan, you plan to fail,” “There will always be people who won’t believe in you, but leadership is about believing in yourself and inspiring others,” and “Leaders are not born, they are made,” left a lasting impact on the participants and will serve as guiding principles in their leadership journey.

The success of the event was made possible through the unwavering support of Sir Mario Benitez, Principal, and Ma’am Belen Bolanio, Assistant Principal, whose leadership continues to inspire the youth of Nicaan High School. Special recognition is also given to Ma’am Genely Gelacio, who facilitated the program with commitment and excellence.

Reflecting on the experience, Arvelyn Sequiño, Grade 12 Representative, expressed how inspiring the training was:
“As a young leader, I felt truly motivated after this training. The lessons I learned from the speakers and the activities reminded me that leadership is not just about carrying a title—it’s about serving others with integrity and standing firm even when challenges come. I am grateful to be part of this experience, and I am more determined to be a responsible leader inside and outside the school.”

The SSLG Officers led by President Biena Carcillar, together with other student leaders, showed dedication, cooperation, and a willingness to learn throughout the training. Above all, gratitude is offered to Almighty God for His guidance and blessings that ensured the success of this meaningful activity.

This event stands as a testament to Nicaan High School’s commitment to molding the next generation of ethical, service-driven, and visionary leaders ready to take on the challenges of a connected world.

In observance of World Su***de Prevention Day 2025 with the theme “Changing the Narrative on Su***de” and the call to action “Start the Conversation,” our learners actively took part in a 30-minute room-based program.

Due to the ongoing construction of our covered court, we creatively held the activities inside classrooms—making the experience more personal and meaningful. ✨

The program included:

🎤 Creative expression through spoken poetry

Kabilang sa mga tampok na aktibidad ang 𝐓𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐧 𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐨, kung saan ipinakita ng mga kalahok ang kanilang malawak na kaalaman sa wikang Filipino at kasaysayan ng bansa; ang 𝐑𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐚 𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐧, na nagbigay-diin sa makukulay at makasaysayang kasuotan ng ating mga ninuno at iba’t ibang rehiyon; ang 𝐒𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐭 𝐁𝐢𝐠𝐤𝐚𝐬, na nagpaigting ng kahusayan sa malikhaing pagsusulat at masining na pagbigkas; ang 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐧 𝐏𝐨𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐲, na nagbigay-daan sa damdamin at saloobin ng mga kabataan gamit ang masining na pananalita; at ang 𝐒𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐰𝐢𝐭, na nagpatibay sa pagkakaisa at pagmamahal sa musika ng sariling wika.

Kaya’t taos-pusong pasasalamat ang ipinapaabot ng 𝐍𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐚𝐧 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 sa lahat ng mag-aaral na masigasig na lumahok, sa mga magulang na patuloy na nagbibigay ng suporta, sa mga g**o na buong puso at sipag na gumabay, at higit sa lahat sa ating butihing 𝐏𝐮𝐧𝐨𝐧𝐠-𝐆𝐮𝐫𝐨 𝐒𝐢𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐨 𝐂. 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐳, at sa ating masigasig na 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐚’𝐚𝐦 𝐁𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐧 𝐀. 𝐁𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐧̃𝐨, na walang sawang nagbigay ng suporta at paggabay upang maging makabuluhan at matagumpay ang pagdiriwang na ito.
