SAIS Students Connect with Japan in HelloWorld Exchange Program Kickoff

To foster cross-cultural collaboration with learners from Japan, twenty students attended their first mini-session today as a part of the HelloWorld’s Online International Exchange Program on August 18, 2026 at the ICT Laboratory.

The program featured structured virtual exchange activities and guided discussions designed to connect local students with their Japanese peers.
Participants remain responsible for completing any missed classwork or tasks following the official program activity.

SAIS Student-Researchers Rise to the JA WE Challenge

Demonstrating exceptional innovation, critical thinking, and research efforts towards transforming waste into useful energy, the San Agustin Integrated School (SAIS) officially joined the highly anticipated Junior Achievers Philippines WE Challenge, with student-researchers, Deanne Buenaobra and Earl Benavides, managed by their coach, Sir Albert Corbilla, that started August 15, 2026 via a scheduled zoom meeting.

The JA WE Challenge serves as a platform for young minds to showcase groundbreaking research, problem-solving skills, and real-world solutions to the ongoing issues on handling waste whether in school or in the community.

The SAIS delegation expressed high enthusiasm as they stepped into the arena, prepared to present their hard work and defend their findings against competing teams.//

The Seed Delegates Join Regional Mobile Journalism Workshop

STO. DOMINGO, ALBAY — Delegates from The Seed, the Official Student Publication of San Agustin Integrated School, joined fellow campus journalists and school paper advisers across the region for the opening of the Regional Training-Workshop on Mobile Journalism for Public and Private School Paper Advisers and Campus Journalists in Region V. on Friday, August 14, at Costal View Resort, Sto. Domingo, Albay.

The two-day regional event, organized by the Department of Education (DepEd) Region V, is taking place from August 14 to 15, 2026.

Representing The Seed for the continuous publication training are School Publication Adviser in English, Sir Albert Corbilla, Editor-in-Chief Angelica Flojo, and Senior Journalist Gabrielle Biagan.

The training-workshop aims to hone the skills of campus journalists and advisers in leveraging modern mobile technologies and digital tools for efficient news gathering, digital storytelling, and media production.// Photo by Angelica Flojo

Flexibility sa pagtuturo sa basic education!
Sa bisa ng Republic Act No. 12322, pinatitibay ang awtoridad ng DepEd na pumili at gumamit ng mga estratehiya sa pagtuturo na pinakaangkop sa pangangailangan ng ating mga learner.
Layunin ng bagong batas na mas mapahusay ang paraan ng pagtuturo upang matiyak ang mas dekalidad at mas makabuluhang pagkatuto.

MGA MAGULANG NA BENEPISYARYO NG 4Ps, NANGUNA SA PAGLILINIS AT PAGPAPATUPAD NG KAAYUSAN SA SAIS

Bilang bahagi ng pagpapanatili ng kaayusan at kalinisan ng San Agustin Integrated School, nagsimula na ang pag-abot ng tulong at serbisyo ng mga magulang na benepisiyaryo ng Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) nitong Biyernes, Agosto 7, 2026.

Layunin ng nasabing inisyatibo na panatilihin ang paaralan na ligtas at angkop ang kapaligiran para sa pag-aaral ng mga estudyante. Samut-saring gawain ang ginampanan ng mga magulang kabilang ang pagwawalis ng bakuran, pag-aayos ng mga pasilidad, at pagtulong sa pagpapanatili ng disiplina sa paligid ng kampus.

Ayon sa pamunuan ng paaralan, ang aktibong pakikilahok ng mga magulang ay bahagi ng kanilang patuloy na pagsuporta at pagmamalasakit sa edukasyon ng kanilang mga anak, gayundin bilang pagpapakita ng bayanihan at pananagutan sa komunidad.//
