The newly elected and appointed UASG Officers for Academic Year 2026โ€“2027 have formally taken their oath and assumed their respective offices, ready to represent, listen to, and serve the UA-Libertad student body.

Leading the new administration are President Angelyn S. Saracanlao of the College of Management and Governance (CMG) and Vice President Rissa E. Constantino of the College of Computing and Information Science (CCIS), together with the newly elected senators, representatives, and appointed officers.

The ceremony was held with the support of Campus Administrator Dr. Porferio S. Bangcaya. The oath was administered by Mrs. Arianne Mae A. Gallardo, MIT, Program Head of BSIT, with the presence of OIC Program Head Mrs. Cherifel F. Nambong, MHM, and faculty members.

In their messages, Mrs. Gallardo and Mrs. Nambong reminded the new officers that no one is perfect and mistakes are part of the journey. They encouraged the student leaders to learn from every experience and lead with humility, responsibility, and genuine commitment to service.

Mrs. Gallardo emphasized:

Meanwhile, President Angelyn S. Strengthening Leadership. Advancing Student Service. Building Unity.

The University of Antique Student Government (UASG) โ€“ Libertad Campus successfully conducted its First and Emergency Meeting of the Newly Elected UASG Officers for the 1st Semester, A.Y. 2026โ€“2027 on September 13, 2026.

The meeting brought together the newly elected UASG officers, together with the UASG Adviser, Mr. Mark Anthony A. Flores, and Co-Adviser, Ms. Joana Marie D.M. Pablo, to formally organize the new administration and establish its initial direction for student leadership and service.

Key matters discussed included the official election results, appointment of seven UASG officers, oath-taking preparations, official UASG uniform, campus duty and Tuesday flag-raising responsibilities, upcoming activities and programs, elections, AKWE activities, Teachersโ€™ Day, resolutions and official communications, and priority student programs and projects.

This gathering marks the beginning of a new chapter of organized leadership, accountability, teamwork, and dedicated service to the student body.

With the guidance of our advisers and the commitment of every newly elected officer, the UASG looks forward to a meaningful and productive administration.
