Even with the suspension of face-to-face classes, we will still continue with our CHAPEL HOUR today.

๐ŸŽฅ For the Elementary and Preschool Departments, a pre-recorded Chapel Hour will be provided.

The repetition of our Chapel Hour is to ensure that every learner continues to grow both academically and spiritually.

In compliance with the directive from the City Government regarding the continued suspension of face-to-face classes, Faith Baptist Christian Academy will temporarily shift to online classes (HALF DAY) starting tomorrow, October 14, 2025, until further notice from the City Office.

To facilitate this transition, parents and guardians are kindly requested to pick up their childโ€™s PACEs and learning materials at the school.

This arrangement ensures the continuity of our learnersโ€™ education while prioritizing everyoneโ€™s safety and convenience. Teachers will communicate further instructions and online class schedules through the usual communication channels.

A 7.6 magnitude earthquake was recorded this morning, October 10, 2025 with its epicenter located in Manay, Davao Oriental, according to PHIVOLCS. As part of our safety measures, all parents and guardians were advised to fetch their children immediately and ensure they are brought home safely.

Please remain vigilant and continue to monitor updates and possible aftershocks. The safety and well-being of our pupils and staff remain our utmost priority.

Believing that preparedness and compassion are vital in saving lives, Faith Baptist Christian Academy conducted a CPR Caravan Lecture and Demonstration in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross โ€“ Butuan Chapter. The activity aimed to equip students and seminarians with essential life-saving knowledge and practical skills.

The lecture featured Ms. Jesslei Vemm Piquero, RN, USRN, Mr. Jhon Lloyd S. Dagoy, and Mr. Ronel Bajan of the Philippine Red Cross, who shared their expertise through interactive discussions and hands-on CPR demonstrations.

Anchored on the theme โ€œEquipping Hearts and Hands to Save Lives,โ€ the program highlighted the importance of readiness and compassion in times of emergency. It also reflected the schoolโ€™s commitment to holistic Christian education that nurtures both the mind and the heart.

The event concluded with closing remarks from Mrs. Shulamite Celedio, School Principal, who expressed gratitude to the Red Cross team and reminded everyone that learning to save lives is a meaningful act of love and stewardship for Godโ€™s creation.
