United for a cleaner, greener, and healthier environment!

Matabungkay Elementary School joins the International Coastal Clean Up Day 2026!

Matabungkay Elementary School actively participated in the International Coastal Clean Up Day 2026 on September 19, 2026, headed by our dedicated school head, Sir Ronel A. Gomez, together with the teaching and non-teaching personnel, Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O), and Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG).

Through this meaningful activity, our school community demonstrated the importance of environmental responsibility, teamwork, and active citizenship. Every piece of trash collected along the shoreline of Matabungkay beach is a step toward cleaner shores and a healthier future for our community. Together, let us continue to protect our seas, care for our environment, and inspire our learners to become responsible stewards of Mother Earth.
