Sa Tahi-Larawan, ipinamalas ng mga kalahok ang kanilang kakayahan sa pagbuo ng maikling kuwento batay sa mga litratong naglalaman ng mga ideyang may kaugnayan sa tema ng Buwan ng Wika.

Bukod pa rito, ginamit naman ng mga kalahok sa Biswalita ang ibaโ€™t ibang biswal na elemento upang maihatid nang malinaw at malikhaing paraan ang kanilang mensahe sa madla.

Hindi rin nagpahuli ang mga kalahok sa Pagkukuwento, kung saan ipinamalas nila ang kanilang husay sa pagsasalaysay, pagbigkas, at paggamit ng wikang Filipino upang maihatid nang malinaw at makabuluhan ang kanilang mga kuwento.

Layunin naman ng paaralan na higit pang mapaunlad at mapalalim ang pagpapahalaga ng mga mag-aaral sa wikang Filipino, panitikan, at kulturang Pilipino.

Samantala, magpapatuloy pa ang ibaโ€™t ibang aktibidad ng paaralan bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika ngayong taon, kabilang ang KwizPinoy na gaganapin sa darating na Lunes.

Matagumpay na idinaos ng Palo National High School (Palo NHS) ang opening ceremony ng Intramurals 2026, kung saan ipinakita ng mga mag-aaral mula sa ibaโ€™t ibang baitang ang kani-kanilang mga bandera bilang hudyat ng pagsisimula ng taunang pampaaralang kompetisyon sa palakasan, ngayong ika-13 ng Agosto.

Hinati ang mga estudyante sa bawat baitang sa kani-kanilang pangkat na may natatanging pangalan at kulay. Kabilang dito ang Grade 7 โ€“ Emerald Warriors (Berde), Grade 8 โ€“ Crimson Phoenix (P**a), Grade 9 โ€“ Azure Eagles (Asul), Grade 10 โ€“ Golden Lions (Dilaw), Grade 11 โ€“ Blazing Roses (Rosas), at Grade 12 โ€“ Royal Dragons (Lilak).

Kabilang naman sa programa ng seremonya ang parada, banner-raising contest, na pinangunahan ng mga kinatawan ng bawat pangkat, warm-up exercises, at mga talumpati patungkol sa pagsalubong sa nasabing paligsahan sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni Dr. Lorlita Ricablanca, Punong-guro ng paaralan.

Inaasahan na sa patuloy na pagsasagawa ng kompetisyon ay maipamalas ng mga atleta ang kanilang mga talento, husay, at determinasyon sa ibaโ€™t ibang larangan ng pampalakasan.

Higit pa rito, layunin ng paligsahan na mas mapaunlad pa ang disiplina, pagsusumikap, at pagtutulungan habang isinasabuhay ang diwa ng pagiging isang atleta.

THE EXCITEMENT IS IN THE AIR ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Palo NHS Intramurals 2026 officially kicked off on Thursday, August 13, with a parade and opening program at the Palo NHS Grounds.

Special thanks to our very own Drum and Lyre Corps, under the supervision of Sir Mark Catan, for energizing the crowd and setting the tone during the opening day.

Meet our competing teams and their colors:

Grade 7-Emerald Warriors (Green)
Grade 8-Crimson Phoenix (Red)
Grade 9-Azure Eagles (Blue)
Grade 10-Golden Lions (Yellow)
Grade 11-Blazing Roses - (Pink)
Grade 12-Royal Dragons - (Purple)

Games continue on Friday, August 14, while the Awarding and Closing Ceremony will be on August 17 during the Monday Flag Ceremony.

PACHECO, FERNANDEZ LEAD LIGHTING OF FRIENDSHIP URN IN INTRAMURALS OPENING

Student athletes Wrine Belle Pacheco and Elli Jedd Fernandez led the lighting of the Friendship Urn during the opening program of the Palo National High School Intramurals on Thursday, August 13.

Pacheco, an Eastern Visayas Regional Athletic Association (EVRAA) Meet qualifier, and Fernandez, a Leyte Provincial Meet qualifier, symbolized unity and sportsmanship as they lit the urn before the student body.

The program also featured the Hoisting and Presentation of Grade Level Banners

Winners were announced as follows:

1st Place - Grade 12
2nd Place - Grade 9
3rd Place - Grade 8
4th Place - Grade 7
5th Place - Grade 11
6th Place - Grade 10

Games will continue on Friday, August 15, while the Awarding and Closing Ceremony will be held during the flag ceremony on Monday, August 17.

: PALO 1 PSDS TERAZA DELIVERS INSPIRATIONAL MESSAGE AT PALO NHS INTRAMURALS 2026 OPENING

Palo 1 Public Schools District Supervisor Philip Teraza delivered the inspirational message during the formal opening of the Palo National High School Intramurals 2026 on Thursday, August 13, at the Palo NHS Grounds.

In his message, Teraza highlighted that a healthy body paves the way for a healthy mind.

He urged students to compete with discipline, respect, and sportsmanship.

The two-day event kicked off with a parade, followed by the opening program that included the Oath of Sportsmanship and Oath of Amateurism, the Lighting of the Friendship Urn, and the Hoisting of School and Grade Level Banners.

Teraza lauded the leadership of School Principal II Lorlita Ricablanca, Curriculum Head Christie Anne Bihag, MAPEH Department Head Jet Caรฑanes, and Special Program in Sports Coordinator Honeylyn Dolina, along with DRRM Head Noel Petilla, Department Heads, Year Level Coordinators, and administrative and teaching staff, especially MAPEH, SPS, and SPA teachers, for the successful opening program.

Palo NHS administration also extended special gratitude to the competing team members and advisers, athletes and coaches, Supreme Secondary Learner Government, student leaders, SPJ Media and Documentation Team, The Cradle and Ang Duyan publication staff, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, security and volunteer staff, Palo Municipal Police, Palo NHS Drum and Lyre Corps, School Parent-Teacher Association, and all other stakeholders.

The awarding of winners is set on Monday morning, August 17.

ANNOUNCEMENT: Palo National High School, in partnership with the Palo Municipal Police Station, Bureau of Fire Protection-Palo, Police Regional Office 8, and LGU Palo, will hold a simulation exercise at the Grade 9 building area at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2026.

All concerned are enjoined to cooperate during the activity.
