Abuyog National High School proudly congratulates five ( 5 ) Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics ( STEM ) and one (1) Accountancy, Business and Management ( ABM ) students who PASSED the UNIVERSITY of the PHILIPPINES COLLEGE ADMISSION TEST ( UPCAT ) held on August 11-12, 2024 👏🤝👏

Abuyog National High School - SHS Department is thrilled to announce the achievement of seventy-nine (79) Home Economics and thirty-six (36) Electrical Installation and Maintenance learners who demonstrated competence in the National Certificate II TESDA Assessment held in Franciscan College of Immaculate Concepcion and Dulag Polytechnic Institute, Incorporated respectively.

This achievement is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our students, as well as the effective training and guidance provided by our TVL teachers with the support of the school administration spearheaded by Dr. Alexander T. Olazo.

We extend our sincerest gratitude to our partner institutions, Dulag Polytechnic Institute Incorporated and Franciscan College of Immaculate Concepcion, Baybay City, for their support and cooperation in conducting the assessments in compliance to DepEd Order 003 series 2025 titled Guideline on the Quality-Assured Assessment for the National Certification of Learners in the Senior High School and Technical- Vocational and Livelihood and Expansion of Number of Competency Assesors

2025 STEM Research Congress

ICYMI | The 2025 STEM Research Congress had recently concluded, bringing together one-hundred twenty-four STEM students and researchers with Dr. Francis R. Delmonte, a Regional Winner in 2023 Eastern Visayas Basic Education and Innovation Forum ( EVBERIF ) in Tacloban, City and research presenter in 2024 International Research Congress on Culture Management in Basic Education in Boracay, Aklan as the Head of the Organizing Committee. The event aimed to foster a culture of research within the STEM strand, promoting academic excellence and innovation.

The congress provided a platform for students to showcase their research and capstone project in lieu of work immersion. Dr. Delmonte emphasized the importance of nurturing research-oriented mindset among STEM students, highlighting its significance in driving progress, addressing real-world challenges and creating a new set of knowledge.

By organizing this dynamic exchange of ideas, the 2025 STEM Research Congress had successfully sown the seeds of a research-driven culture within the school community.

The success of this event is a testament to the school's vision and dedication to promote STEM education and research. As the school community continues to cultivate this culture, it is clear that the future of STEM research is bright with these student-researchers leading the way to achieve such.
