Our faculty successfully conducted a meaningful and engaging Learning Action Cell Session on Excel Automation for Teachers, aimed at enhancing productivity, efficiency, and data management skills in the classroom.

We extend our sincere appreciation to our resource speaker, Mr. Mark Christian L. Lapuz, our dedicated ICT Coordinator, for sharing his expertise and guiding teachers in maximizing Microsoft Excel tools for automated reports, grading systems, and streamlined documentation.

Through continuous professional development like this, we strengthen our commitment to innovation, collaboration, and excellence in education.

The successful conduct of the District Oral Reading Post-Test at Tigbawan Elementary School was proudly headed by Sir Norman N. Carel, Team A Leader, together with a dedicated team of School Heads who worked collaboratively to ensure a smooth and organized assessment..

Assigned to each Grade Level were: Kinder – Joana Rose Jopson; Grade 1 – Fe Leah Artugue; Grade 2 – Marilou N. Go; Grade 3 – Donato P. Salipot; Grade 4 – Junrey O. Jopson; Grade 5 – Alfredo N. Bargan Jr.; and Grade 6 – Gaudioso Colata.

Through teamwork, commitment, and strong leadership, the activity was effectively implemented, highlighting the school’s continuous effort to enhance learners’ reading proficiency and academic excellence.

FIRST COMMUNION..
With hearts full of faith and gratitude, the Grade 4 learners of Tigbawan Elementary School joyfully celebrated their First Holy Communion at the sacred Brgy. Tigbawan Chapel, marking a beautiful milestone in their spiritual journey. Surrounded by their families, teachers, and the loving support of the community, these young faithful received the Holy Eucharist for the first time, embracing a deeper connection with God and strengthening their commitment to live with kindness, love, and devotion. May this blessed occasion inspire them to continue walking in faith and growing in grace.😇🤍

Tigbawan Elementary School joins the Orientation on Procurement, Asset, and Financial Management

School head, BAC Members, and AO II, property custodian, and inspectorate team, actively participated in the Orientation on Procurement, Asset, and Financial Management aimed at strengthening transparency, accountability, and compliance in school-based procurement and financial management.

This activity reinforces our commitment to responsible use of public funds and improved procurement governance in support of quality education.

The successful conduct of the 3rd Quarter Portfolio Day of Tigbawan Elementary School, Leyte II District, (January 31, 2026), marked a meaningful milestone in strengthening the partnership between the school and the learners’ families. The event showcased pupils’ academic progress, skills, and achievements through well-prepared portfolios, reflecting the dedication of both teachers and learners. Parents and guardians actively participated in reviewing the outputs, fostering open communication and a deeper understanding of each child’s learning journey during the quarter.

Moreover, the activity promoted a supportive learning environment where collaboration and shared responsibility were clearly evident. Teachers provided valuable feedback, while parents expressed appreciation for the transparency and effort shown in monitoring learners’ development. The smooth implementation and positive response from stakeholders highlighted the commitment of Tigbawan Elementary School to Qality Education and continuous improvement, making the 3rd Quarter Portfolio Day a truly successful and rewarding event.

Grade 4 pupils took the ELLNA (Early Language, Literacy and Numeracy Assessment) exam today November 13, 2025, Thursday.

This is designed to measure their Language, Literacy, and Numeracy skills. It also helps the teachers and the schools determine how well the learners have developed Foundational Reading, Writing, and Math Skills.

The entire Tigbawan Elementary School Family of Leyte II District extends our heartfelt gratitude to the Office of the Vice President for the generous distribution of school bags to our dear Learners..
