WE HEAR YOU!

The Language and Literature Department is extending the submission of entries for the various competitions of the Literary Musical Contest 2021 to November 30, 2021. The contests are open to all interested PIT students. We encourage everyone to actively participate in this affair.

P.S. We need more entries for the Vocal Pop Solo, Character Impersonation, and Dance Competition.

As the global community traverses the new normal due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the role of the English language has become more immense. The English language is known to be the global language which addresses the gaps and diversities among different group of people with varying cultural background and needs. This language has forged closer ties among people in line with commerce, education, and most especially in attaining global and cultural understanding through communication.

In line of this year’s English Month Celebration, the Language and Literature Department will spearhead the Virtual Literary Musical Contest 2021 with the theme, “Reshaping Diversity through Language, Literature and Arts”, to commemorate the significant role that language, literature and the arts play in reshaping our individualities and promoting holistic and inclusive pursuits that will foster a harmonious relationship while we all journey the new normal in education.
