Today, St. Mary Educational Institute solemnly observed Ash Wednesday, marking the beginning of the Lenten Season.

Ash Wednesday is a significant day in the Catholic Church when ashes are placed on the foreheads of the faithful as a symbol of repentance, humility, and conversion. The ashes serve as a reminder that we are from dust and to dust we shall return, calling us to reflect, fast, pray, and perform acts of charity.

As the 40-day journey of Lent begins, the Marians showed their full support and participation through active involvement in the Holy Mass and heartfelt prayers.

On February 13, 2026, Coronation Night lit up the stage with glamour, poise, and excitement! 👑 Beyond crowning this year’s Mr. & Ms. SMEI, various special awards and titles were also given, celebrating the unique skills and wisdom of our students.

In stunning gowns and sharp suits, the winners carried their crowns, sashes, bouquets, and trophies with confidence and pride. Every smile, step, and pose reflected their dedication, talent, and grace, supported by their proud parents and guardians.

The evening was a grand highlight of the 71st Founding Anniversary of St. Mary’s Educational Institute, honoring not only the winners but also the elegance and remarkable spirit of all students. Truly, a night of glamour, joy, and unforgettable memories! ✨

Day 4 | 71st Founding Anniversary of St. Mary’s Educational Institute

Today marked another exciting highlight of our 71st Founding Anniversary as students proudly showcased their talents during the much-awaited Field Demonstration. With graceful movements and energetic performances, the learners displayed their skills and passion in the art of dance, filling the venue with cheers and school spirit.

The celebration also featured the Elementary Quiz Bee, where young Marians confidently competed and demonstrated their knowledge and academic excellence. Meanwhile, students enjoyed visiting the colorful and creative booths prepared by different school clubs, bringing fun, laughter, and unforgettable memories to everyone.

Truly, Day 4 was a celebration of talent, intelligence, unity, and Marian pride!

Day 1 successfully marked the opening of the 71st Anniversary Celebration of St. Mary’s Educational Institute, bringing together students, families, and guests for a full day of meaningful and exciting activities aligned with the theme, “Journeying Together, Forging Stronger.”

The opening program featured vibrant cultural performances by the Sindayaw Performing Arts Club, along with a special serenade from student singers who competed in the USAL Cup 2026 and proudly represented Saint Mary’s Educational Institute.

The event was further highlighted by live band entertainment, engaging bingo games with exciting prizes, and a major raffle draw where a Bajaj Maxima tricycle was awarded as the grand prize. The celebration continued with shared meals and warm fellowship among families and community members, making the first day both festive and truly memorable.
