𝐑𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞, 𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐛𝐲 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞. This is the essence of true Filipino service excellence highlighted in the 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 recently held on January 26, 2026 at University of Santo Tomas-Legazpi, Peñaranda Campus, De Guzman Hall.

With active participation and collaboration, the FBSE Training became a successful and meaningful learning experience for every 4th Year Tourism Management and Hospitality Management students of the College of Business Management and Accountancy, as they actively engaged in discussions on the fundamentals of Filipino hospitality and the values that shape service excellence.

We extend our sincerest and profound gratitude to the 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐦 (𝐃𝐎𝐓) 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐕 headed by 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫, 𝐌𝐫. 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐛𝐢𝐞 𝐀𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐬, to 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐟 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐦 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫, 𝐌𝐫. 𝐀𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐝 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐪𝐮𝐞 𝐆𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐚 for their continued commitment to uplifting future tourism and hospitality professionals and for extending this valuable opportunity to the students. Moreover, to our valued 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐫, 𝐌𝐬. 𝐈𝐫𝐢𝐬 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐣𝐨𝐧-𝐌𝐮ñ𝐨𝐳, whose knowledge, insights and expertise greatly broadened the students’ understanding of the Filipino brand of service.

We also extend our heartfelt appreciation for the utmost support given by the University, the College of Business Management and Accountancy, headed by 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞 𝐓. In partnership with the Department of Tourism (DOT) Region V, the UST - Legazpi Tourism Society will once again be conducting the "𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐨 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 (𝐅𝐁𝐒𝐄) 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠" with a theme "𝙀𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙁𝙪𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙏𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙢 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙃𝙤𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝘼𝙢𝙗𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙖𝙙𝙤𝙧𝙨: 𝙁𝙤𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙀𝙭𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙁𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙤 𝘽𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙤𝙛 𝙎𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙚" on Monday, 26th of January, 2026 at the University of Santo Tomas - Legazpi, Peñaranda Campus, De Guzman Hall.

This training is organized for the 4th-year graduating Tourism and Hospitality students of the College of Business Management and Accountancy to equip them with the standard Filipino service and skills as future ambassadors in the tourism and hospitality industry in the Philippines, guided by the Filipino Brand of Service Excellence.

Furthermore, this training will provide students with an opportunity to deepen their awareness and understanding of the industry, as well as develop both new and existing skills. It aims to empower graduating students to transition confidently into the professional world while upholding the values of Filipino culture and identity — promising a more heartfelt and engaging Philippine tourism experience through the Filipino Brand of Service. 🇵🇭✨
