As future criminologists, we are not only called to study crime and justice, but to be active partners in building safer and stronger communities. Simeon Ola was a brave Bicolano leader who devoted his life to fight for freedom and service of his people. As the last Filipino general to surrender to the Americans, his courage and determination became a lasting symbol of Bicolano resilience.

Today, we honor his legacy and remember the courage, perseverance, and love for home that made him a true Bicolano hero.

The 4th Year Criminology interns officially began their on-the-job training at the Bureau of Fire Protection โ€“ Legazpi City Central Station. As part of their first day of deployment, they joined the BFP personnel during the Monday Flag-Raising Ceremony.

This meaningful experience marks the beginning of their hands-on training in public safety, fire prevention, emergency preparedness, and community service. Through this internship, our future criminologists continue to strengthen their discipline, professionalism, and commitment to serving the public.
