The management of Cabangan High School has successfully conducted the โTeachersโ Orientation on School Policies, Management of Concerns, and School Protocolsโ held on June 25, 2026, at STI College, Legazpi City. This activity serves as the roadmap to collective confidence and an investment in institutional health. To ensure safety, legal compliance, and organizational alignment, this teachersโ orientation is a critical tool for every school administration.
It was conducted in two separate sessions; teachers assigned in the morning shift attended the session at 1:00 P.M. while those who are in the afternoon shift joined the morning session so as not to disrupt classes. This arrangement was made in compliance to DepEd Order No. 009, s. 2026, that the instructional block is a protected academic period of the school term.
Kurt Essa Rastrullo, the schoolโs Guidance Counselor and designated School Information Officer, took the floor in the discussion of school policies, management of concerns and school protocols. Emphasis was given on each of the rules and procedures on the school policies for uniform interpretation and appreciation of the guidelines encapsulated in DepEd Order No. 006, s. 2026.
At the top of every educator's responsibility is the physical and emotional well-being of their learners, and theirs, too. So, this orientation serves as a proactive measure to protect both learners and teachers and safeguard the learning institution from liability as well.
