Behind this picture is a section filled with chaos, friendship, memories, and endless laughter. It may look like an ordinary classroom photo, but every face here carries a story that made their college journey truly unforgettable. From first-year strangers to third-year brothers and sisters, they became a family shaped by shared struggles, sleepless nights, and the constant noise of a classroom that never felt empty.

They survived surprise recitations, demanding instructors, reporting pressures, and group activities where only a few actually did the work while the rest proudly said, β€œmoral support lang ako.” They came to class looking complete and professional, while secretly running on little sleep from overnight reviews. Yet somehow, they still found reasons to laugh at the smallest, most unexpected moments.

3B4 became known for being loud, playful, and full of life. Every vacant period felt like a mini reunion. One corner was always noisy, another group was copying assignments in a rush, while someone slept peacefully as if the classroom was their personal bed. And of course, there was always that one familiar question:

β€œMay assignment ba?” - usually asked right after it was already discussed.

Despite the pressure of being third-year students, they found comfort in each other’s presence. Their bond grew stronger through shared snacks, last-minute reviews, and simple words like β€œKaya natin ’to,” even when no one was entirely sure how.

This picture captures the 3B4 perfectly-tired but smiling, stressed but complete, chaotic but united. Behind every laugh are memories they will never forget: classroom jokes, pre-exam panic, unexpected β€œconcerts,” and friendships that gave meaning to college life.

𝐓𝐇𝐄 πŒπ˜π’π“π„π‘π˜ πŽπ… 𝐓𝐇𝐄 πŒπˆπ’π’πˆππ† 𝐁𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐒

Sa unang linggo ng klase, simple lang ang lahatβ€”kanya-kanyang dala ng ballpen, lapis, at notebook. Pero habang tumatagal, napapansin namin na unti-unting nauubos ang mga ballpen sa classroom. Minsan nawawala pagkatapos ng discussion, minsan pagkatapos ng quiz. Akala namin normal langβ€”baka naiwan lang sa bag o nahulog sa sahig. Pero dumating sa punto na halos buong tropa namin ay tig-iisang ballpen na ang nawawala.

Hanggang sa isang araw, napansin namin na ang kaklase naming si β€œDor” ay laging may bagong ballpen araw-araw. Iba-iba paβ€”may gel pen, Pilot, click pen, at kung anu-ano pa. Naging palaisipan sa amin ito dahil tila magkakapareho ang itsura ng mga nawawalang ballpen at ng mga ginagamit niya. Hindi naman siya bumibili, pero parang may sariling koleksyon ng stationery na hindi maubos-ubos.

Kaya naisip naming pagsamahin ang lahat ng natitirang ballpen namin sa isang table pagkatapos ng klase. Doon namin napagtanto na bawat isa ay may sariling kwentoβ€”may ginamit sa major exam, may pinahiram sa crush, at may halos ubos na tinta dahil sa araw-araw na notes. Parang naging β€œsurvivors” sila ng isang classroom mystery.

Mula noon, naging inside joke sa section namin ang β€œBallpen Collection ni Dor.” Kada may nawawalan, automatic ang tanong: β€œNasa kanya na naman ba?” Ang larawan ng tambak na ballpen ay naging parang ebidensya ng lahat ng misteryosong pagkawala. Hanggang ngayon, hindi pa rin malinaw kung sinasadya ba o nakakalimutan lang isoliβ€”pero isang bagay ang sigurado: walang ballpen ang ligtas kapag naiwan sa armchair.

It feels like just yesterday when we first stepped through the gates as nervous first-year students. Everything was unfamiliar-new faces, challenging lessons, and the heavy adjustment of being away from home. There were mornings when we struggled to get out of bed, and nights when we questioned if we could keep up. Yet, despite it all, we chose to hold on-one step at a time.

When second year came, the challenges became even heavier. More difficult subjects, demanding projects, and exhausting duties tested our patience and strength. We cried, we laughed, and we leaned on one another. Every drop of sweat, every sleepless night, slowly turned into progress and growth we could truly feel.

Now, here we are - proud third-year and graduating students. Looking back, we realize that none of the struggles were wasted. Every challenge shaped us into the determined, confident learners we have become today.

From the bottom of our hearts, we extend our deepest gratitude to our beloved Alma Mater for guiding us, teaching us, and believing in us even in moments of doubt-every sacrifice was truly worth it.

The classroom felt unusually quiet as the afternoon light slipped through the windows and settled gently on the empty chairs. It was hard to believe that this same room once echoed with laughter, hurried discussions, sleepy mornings, and countless memories shared among classmates who once felt like family. May mga sandaling pilit mong nginingitian kahit ramdam mong mabigat sa dibdib. Tulad ng araw na iyon sa isang simpleng silid, nagsama-sama ang mga taong minsang estranghero, pero ngayon ay hirap nang magpaalam.

May hawak silang mga bulaklak, makukulay at magaganda, pero panandalian lang parang sandaling iyon. Sa likod ng tawanan, may mga matang nagpipigil ng luha. Naalala nila ang mga gabing puyat, ang pagod, at ang mga panahong muntik nang sumuko pero may nagabot ng lakas ng loob. Doon nabuo ang samahan sa hirap, hindi lang sa saya.

Ngayon, alam nilang ito na ang huli. May mga yakap na mas mahigpit, mga ngiting may halong lungkot, at mga salitang hindi na nasabi. Dahil pagkatapos nito, magkakanya-kanya na sila ng landas.

Maaaring malanta ang mga bulaklak at lumipas ang araw, pero ang alaala ng samahang iyon ay mananatili. Dahil minsan, sa isang maliit na silid, sila ay naging higit pa sa magkaklase naging tahanan sila ng isa’t isa.

Every dream starts with sacrifice, discipline, and perseverance. The destination we aim for is already within reachβ€”we just have to comply, stay consistent, and overcome every challenge along the way. Every sleepless night, every training, and every hardship is shaping us into the future seafarers we are destined to become.

Soon, we will face our final year and step onboard for one year of real experience at seaβ€”the moment we have been preparing for since day one. This journey will not be easy, but it will all be worth it once we finally stand where we once only dreamed of being.

From strangers in our first year to shipmates in our third year, we didn’t just grow as studentsβ€”we grew into a family. Through sleepless nights, demanding training, laughter, and countless struggles, we stayed together and built memories that will last beyond college.

In our first year, we entered college as strangersβ€”each of us carrying different personalities, stories, and dreams. We were still adjusting to the new environment, learning how to navigate college life, and slowly finding our place. Little by little, simple conversations turned into genuine friendships filled with laughter, support, and unforgettable classroom moments.

In our second year, the journey became more challenging, but it also strengthened our bond. Through school activities, trainings, and stressful days, we learned to support, encourage, and rely on one another. We were no longer just classmatesβ€”we became a team that understood each other even without words.

As the shoreline slowly disappears behind us, we begin our journey as future seafarersβ€”leaving behind our hometown, our comfort zones, and the people we hold dear in pursuit of the future we dream of. The sea may be unpredictable, and the voyage ahead may not always be easy, but with courage in our hearts, determination in our minds, and faith to guide us, we are ready to overcome every wave, storm, and challenge that comes our way.
