Learners explored the diverse organizations of Bogtong Integrated School during its first-ever Club Hopping Activity, where various clubs showcased their programs through interactive booths, games, and presentations to encourage student participation in co-curricular activities that foster holistic development, held at Bogtong Integrated School on July 27, 2026.
The activity was spearheaded by the Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG) and the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), which served as the prime movers of the event. It aimed to introduce learners to the different school organizations and encourage them to participate in activities that develop leadership, creativity, communication, teamwork, and other essential life skills beyond the classroom.
School Principal Ranulso S. Abadesa expressed his full support for the initiative, emphasizing that school clubs play a significant role in achieving the Department of Education's vision of developing well-rounded learners. He noted that while academic excellence remains a priority, participation in clubs provides meaningful opportunities for learners to discover their interests, strengthen their talents, and build values and competencies through authentic learning experiences.
Participating organizations included The Hillside, the school's official publication; YES-O Club for both the Elementary and Junior High School departments; SciVentures Club; Tanghal Sining; Sinag ng Kasaysayan; EHEMPLO Club; MATHALLSENSS; SkillIt Club; SPARK Club for Junior High School; and the Sports Leaders Club. Each organization prepared interactive exhibits, demonstrations, games, and information booths that highlighted their objectives, programs, and upcoming activities.
Throughout the day, learners enthusiastically visited each booth, participated in educational games and hands-on activities, interacted with club officers and advisers, and learned about the opportunities available through the different organizations. The event created an atmosphere of collaboration, curiosity, and school spirit as students explored clubs that matched their interests and abilities.
The successful staging of the school's inaugural Club Hopping marked a milestone in promoting learner engagement and active participation in school organizations. The activity reaffirmed Bogtong Integrated School's commitment to providing meaningful learning experiences that extend beyond academics and support the holistic development of every learner in Bogtong IS.
