The National Arts Month Culminating Activity was successfully presented yesterday at NMP-Bicol, featuring cultural performances by Bicol University's College of Arts and Letters Department of Performing Arts. Students and faculty showcased traditional Bicolano prose and poetry through singing, dancing, and creative reading, including Abdon Balde's Tigsik, an indigenous Bicolano oral literary.
Spectators from Bicol College-Daraga, Albay, and Daraga Community College were treated to a captivating display of Bicol's rich cultural heritage. The event was made possible through the collaboration with National Museum-Bicol and Department of Performing Arts of Bicol University College of Arts and Letters.
This celebration is part of the National Arts Month, a month-long celebration held every February to honor the Philippines' diverse art and heritage.
