𝐁𝐄𝐒, 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐬𝐜𝐢 𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐍𝐚𝐠𝐚 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐢𝐜𝐨𝐥 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

Bitano Elementary School (BES) and Legazpi City Science High School (Legasci) have formally welcomed the Naga City delegation for the Palarong Bicol 2026, serving as billeting schools for the competition.

The delegation arrived on Feb. 27 and was received by the principals, teachers, student teachers, and staff of both schools, who assisted the athletes with accommodation and orientation.

An opening program was held, after which the athletes were billeted in their assigned rooms at the schools for the duration of the competition.

The Palarong Bicol 2026 will officially run from March 1 to 7, bringing together student-athletes from across the region to compete in various sports events.

To help teachers and staff manage stress, recognize mental health concerns, and maintain emotional well-being, Bitano Elementary School (BES) spearheaded the Capacity Building on Mental Health Awareness and Stress Management on December 9, 2025 at Miñas Resort.

One of the highlights was the one-hour session with Carene Mias as resource speaker who stressed the importance of self-care, mindfulness, and seeking support when experiencing stress.

The activity is part of the Gender and Development (GAD) work plan of the school.
