The 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗥𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗼 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘀 for a meaningful discussion about the organization’s purpose, mission, and engagement within the student community, this morning of 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟳, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱.

The interview was hosted by Mr. Hershee B. Parreno together with his co-host, Ms. Lydia B. Cervantes. The 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝘁𝗼 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘄𝗹𝘆 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗲𝘅𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀 who are expected to continue strengthening the organization and guiding its members toward excellence and responsibility.

𝐀𝐓𝐓𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄 𝐒𝐓𝐔𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒

The Corps of Midshipmen is hereby granted approval to implement a temporary uniform adjustment for Maritime students within the campus premises. Students are authorized to wear their 𝗧𝘆𝗽𝗲 𝗔 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 and 𝗧𝘆𝗽𝗲 𝗕 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸 in consideration of the persistently high temperatures and extreme heat index currently being experienced.

This measure is approved in light of recent advisories from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), which reported heat indices reaching dangerous levels. Recognizing the potential health risks associated with prolonged exposure to extreme heat, such as heat exhaustion, dehydration, and heat stroke, this adjustment aims to ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of all students while maintaining proper decorum within the institution.
