Who can use fab lab? Fab labs are available as a community resource, offering open access for individuals as well scheduled access for programs

How can businesses use a fablab? Commercial activities can be prototyped and incubated in a fab lab, but they must not conflict with other uses, they should grow beyond rather than within the lab, and they are expected to benefit the inventors, labs, and networks that contribute to their success

BU FabLab Bicol wrapped up a 2-day 3D Printing Process Orientation last July 21-22, 2026 for BSME 2A and 2B students from the BU College of Engineering.

A total of 83 students participated in 4 batches as part of their ME 315: Computer Applications for ME subject for Midyear Semester, A.Y. 2025-2026.

This initiative bridges classroom concepts with industry-relevant skills, preparing our students for the future of engineering.
