The MAIE community gathered last August 15, 2026, at the Bicol University College of Industrial Technology Conference Room for the General Assembly and Orientation, officially welcoming the new academic year 2026โ€“2027.

With the guidance of our Program Adviser, ๐‘ซ๐’“. ๐‘ฒ๐’†๐’๐’ˆ๐’Š๐’† ๐‘ฌ. ๐‘ด๐’†๐’“๐’†๐’๐’„๐’Š๐’‚๐’๐’, and honored by the presence of our College Unit Dean, ๐‘ซ๐’“. ๐‘ช๐’‰๐’“๐’Š๐’”๐’•๐’Š๐’‚๐’ ๐‘ช. ๐‘ช๐’‚๐’๐’๐’†๐’‹๐’‚, the gathering served as an opportunity to welcome new and continuing graduate students, strengthen our sense of community, and set our collective direction for the year ahead.

A significant highlight of the assembly was the election of the new ๐‘ด๐‘จ๐‘ฐ๐‘ฌ ๐‘ฎ๐’“๐’‚๐’…๐’–๐’‚๐’•๐’† ๐‘บ๐’•๐’–๐’…๐’†๐’๐’• ๐‘ถ๐’‡๐’‡๐’Š๐’„๐’†๐’“๐’”. The newly elected leaders accepted the responsibility of representing the student body and contributing to activities that promote academic excellence, professional development, collaboration, and a stronger MAIE community.

A key part of the orientation focused on academic preparation for the ๐‘ช๐’๐’Ž๐’‘๐’“๐’†๐’‰๐’†๐’๐’”๐’Š๐’—๐’† ๐‘ฌ๐’™๐’‚๐’Ž๐’Š๐’๐’‚๐’•๐’Š๐’๐’, providing continuing graduate students with important reminders, expectations, and guidance as they prepare for this significant milestone in their MAIE journey.

Together, we look forward to a year filled with new opportunities, meaningful learning experiences, stronger collaboration, and continued growth.

The Bicol University Graduate School (BUGS) is now accepting applications for admission to its graduate programs for the Second Semester, SY 2026โ€“2027. Applications are open to interested individuals who wish to pursue either master's or doctoral degree programs.

The deadline for the submission of applications is September 15, 2026. Release of results will start on November 15, 2026.
