Dr. Lance Alfred N. Ibo together with Heather Anne A. Igay, M. Sc. took center stage as featured speakers. They artfully wove together enlightening perspectives on the uncharted heritage of Filipinos, tracing the evolving threads of Filipino history.

Through a comprehensive analysis of genetic imprints within the Philippine population, they have produced an intriguing storyline that encapsulates the complex evolution of Philippine identity.

The venue was lit with charm as Noel Jose M. Palenzuela, famously recognized as the 'Guinobatan Cutie Pie,' commenced the introduction number by showcasing his one-of-a-kind talent in the midst of the audience. Another remarkable presentation unfolded as Eddzhen Abejuro demonstrated prowess through a dance cover of Jungkook's Seven.

HAPPENING NOW | Esteemed speakers and Biology students, take part in the forum, '𝐇𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐚: 𝐖𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐨 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐅𝐚𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐜.'

With Filipinos’ limited knowledge regarding the histories and the innermost heritage of the Philippines, Hiblá, together with 3rd-year Biology students, are currently participating in a forum at BU OSAS Student Union Center. The forum is intended for the dissemination of undivulged perception of Philippine genetic identity. Esteemed speakers are also present to bring out expert insights on the said matter.

The 3-hour discourse shall unearth and trace the genetic footprints of human origin in the Philippines, underrepresented minorities, and the inner workings of the Filipino Genome Project.
