𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | May 13, 2026, the Third Year AB English Language students, in partnership with the Society of English Language Majors, successfully conducted the event Across Professions: Organizational Communication and Culture in the Real World at the BUCAL Amphitheater, Aquilino P. Bonto Building.

The program featured a full-day discussion on organizational communication across different industries, with speakers from the legal field, finance, digital freelancing, and aviation industry.

The morning session commenced with welcome remarks by Ms. Rose Ann B. Rempillo, followed by a message from SELM President Mr. Francis Chino Bernal. The first discussion was delivered by Atty. Charmaine Grace Cabria-Dolz, followed by Ms. Charissa Lucila of BDO.

In the afternoon session, Ms. Alex Postrado shared insights as a digital professional, followed by Ms. Thiara Marie San Pablo, and Ms. Mikki Barcela, both flight attendants. Each discussion was followed by an open forum, and the program concluded with the closing remarks delivered by Ms. Mary France N. Valladolid.

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the esteemed Head of the English Department Dr. Ma. Celina Eladia G. Meneses, to our professorial lecturer Prof. Indira B. Tabo, to the speakers for sharing their time and expertise, and to the members of the Society of English Language Majors for their efforts in making the event successful.

The professional world is not something that can be fully understood through theories alone. It is shaped by everyday interactions, communication practices, and the culture that exists within organizations. These elements influence how people work, collaborate, and adapt in real settings, making them essential in preparing for life beyond the classroom.

In line with this, the third year AB English Language students, in partnership with the Society of English Language Majors, present 𝗔𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱, happening on May 13, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at BU Amphitheater Aquilino P.
