The LGBTQ+ community of CCDI - Legazpi held a meeting and election, with the assistance of the 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗕𝗼𝗱𝘆 (𝗖𝗦𝗚𝗕).
The session was led by 𝗠𝗿. 𝗥𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗱 𝗦. 𝗔𝗹𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗼, 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗚𝗕𝗧𝗤+ 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗿,
who discussed the school’s rules and regulations, as well as the privileges, responsibilities, and opportunities available to students who officially register as members of the LGBTQ+ community.

The gathering also included the election of officers who will represent and serve the LGBTQ+ community within the institution. Congratulations to our 𝗻𝗲𝘄𝗹𝘆 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗟𝗚𝗕𝗧𝗤+ 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀:

The Computer Communication Development Institute (CCDI) will officially implement 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟭𝟳, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.
All students are required to wear the 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 upon entering the campus.

As part of the institution’s uniform policy, the “𝗡𝗼 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺, 𝗡𝗼 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆” policy shall be strictly observed. Students are also reminded that the prescribed uniform must bear the 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗖𝗗𝗜 𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗼𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘆 to ensure proper identification and compliance with the institution’s dress code.

For 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁-𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 whose uniforms are still being processed, a 𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗿𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗶𝗽𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 must be presented upon entry. The receipt will serve as verification that the student’s uniform is currently being processed and may be used as basis for the issuance of a 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿.

Furthermore, the creation of 𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗲𝘀
or 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝘀 representing a specific class or block is not allowed. However, Group Chats created for a particular subject is allowed provided the teacher is included in the said GC.

Yesterday, August 7, 2026, the BSIT Department officially held its first department meeting, led by the Department Adviser, 𝗠𝘀. 𝗬𝗻𝗻𝗮 𝗗𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮.

The meeting focused on important updates, including the upcoming 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗳𝗶𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, as well as other plans and activities for the department throughout the academic year.

As we begin another year, let’s continue to work together, stay informed, and make this school year a meaningful one for the BSIT Department!
