LCNHS Employees Consumer Cooperative Officially Registered with CDA

Legazpi City, Albay - May 14, 2026

The Legazpi City National High School-Employees Consumer Cooperative (LCNHS-ECC) officially achieved its registration and approval from the Cooperative Development Authority on May 12, 2026. The milestone marks the formal establishment of the cooperative aimed at promoting financial cooperation, economic empowerment, and employee welfare among the teaching and non-teaching personnel of Legazpi City National High School.

The successful registration was made possible through the dedication and collective efforts of the cooperative’s Board of Directors and its members, with strong support from Danilo V. Llarena , school head of LCNHS. The approval of the cooperative is expected to create opportunities for savings, consumer services, and stronger collaboration within the school community.

Members of the newly formed cooperative expressed optimism that LCNHS-ECC will serve as a sustainable organization committed to service, unity, and the economic advancement of its members in the years ahead.
