"MPCF-LC Senior High School Students showcase their Research skills" 📚 🧪

On October 21-22, 2025, the Grade 12 students of Mariners' Polytechnic Colleges Foundation of Legazpi City (Albay) Inc. successfully defended their research projects under the Practical Research 2 subject. A panel of esteemed experts, consisting of Ms. Catherine Bolaños, Mr. Mark Joame Abuedo, and Mr. Eiyel Cobilla, evaluated the students' work, providing valuable insights and feedback.

We extend our sincerest gratitude to our panelists for their expertise, and to Ms. Mary Joy B. Sabilala, research adviser, for her guidance and support throughout this endeavor.

[HAPPENING NOW] The Senior High School students of Mariners' Polytechnic Colleges Foundation of Legazpi City (Albay) Inc. together with Ms. Catherine A. Bolaños (OIC-Principal) and Ms. Rochelle M. Mantes joined the special screening of BALOTA, a timely socio-political film that reflects on the nation’s democratic processes, at the Bichara Silverscreens.

The said film showing was organized by the Legazpi Association of Private Schools and Administrators (LAPSA) in coordination with its partner institutions, providing students with meaningful insights into civic awareness and social responsibility.

Tuloy-tuloy ang paggunita sa ating kultura at wika! Tagumpay ang ikalawang araw ng ating Post-Nutrition Month at Buwan ng Wika noong Agosto 13, 2025, na nagtatampok sa temang "Ang paglinang ng Filipino at Katutubong Wika, makasaysayan sa pagbuo ng bansa". 🎉

Bilang highlight ng programa, ipinamalas ng mga mag-aaral ng Grade 11 at 12 ang kanilang malikhaing talento at pagmamahal sa kulturang Filipino sa pamamagitan ng matagumpay na "Piyestahan sa Nayon." Bukod sa pagtatanghal, naganap din ang seremonya ng awarding upang bigyan ng pagkilala ang mga nagwagi sa iba't ibang patimpalak sa loob ng dalawang araw. Ang pagdiriwang na ito ay naging saksi sa pagiging malikhain at pagiging makabayan ng ating mga mag-aaral sa Senior High School. 🎭🏆

Lubos ang aming pasasalamat sa lahat ng SSG Officers, sa kanilang Tagapayo, at sa lahat ng mga g**o na naglaan ng oras at pagsisikap upang maging matagumpay ang dalawang araw na kaganapan. Ang inyong kontribusyon ay mahalaga sa patuloy na paghubog sa husay at pagkakaisa ng ating mga mag-aaral.

[BALITA MULA SA SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL]

Naging matagumpay ang unang araw ng pagdiriwang ng Post-Nutrition Month at ang Pagbubukas ng Buwan ng Wika noong Agosto 12, 2025! Sa ilalim ng temang "Food and nutrition security maging priority, sapat na pagkain karapatan natin", at "Ang paglinang ng Filipino at katutubong wika, makasaysayan sa pagbuo ng bansa", matagumpay na naidaos ang iba't ibang aktibidad na nagpapakita ng talento, husay, at pagkakaisa ng ating mga mag-aaral sa Grade 11 at 12. 🎉

Nagsimula ang araw sa masiglang Ice Break Zumba na sinundan ng nakakapagpaganang Intermission Dance mula sa Grade 11 TVL at ACADS. Lalo pang naging kapanapanabik ang hapon sa ginanap na Quiz Bee at iba't ibang laro, kung saan ipinakita ng mga estudyante ang kanilang galing sa kaalaman at pagtutulungan. Ang aktibidad na ito ay naglalayong bigyang-diin ang kahalagahan ng sapat na nutrisyon at kalusugan habang pinalalakas ang samahan ng bawat isa. 💃🧠

Isang taos-pusong pagkilala at pasasalamat sa ating mga masisipag na SSG Officers kasama ang kanilang Tagapayo at sa lahat ng mga g**o na walang sawang nagbigay ng suporta upang maisakatuparan ang unang araw ng pagdiriwang. Naging posible ang tagumpay na ito dahil sa inyong dedikasyon at pagtutulungan.

📣 [IN THE NEWS] Two Grade 12 students from the SHS Department's TVL-Bread and Pastry Production (BPP) strand—Nathaniel Noel G. Navarro and John Cris D. Reynancia—have successfully passed the National Certificate II (NCII) assessment for Bread and Pastry Production.

Their achievement is a reflection of the quality training and mentorship provided by their dedicated teacher, Ms. Laurice Ann P. Borja. The SHS Department commends their hard work, skill, and perseverance in meeting TESDA’s national standards.

[HAPPENING NOW] The Senior High School Department of Mariners' Legazpi conducts a Student Orientation for Grade 11 and Grade 12 students at the Eliza's Hall, MBS as part of the opening activities for SY 2025-2026.

Good evening SHS Marinerians! Just a few reminders for the opening of classes on June 16 (Monday), please be in school before 8:00 am for the morning colors. For Grade 11 students, you may come to school in civilian clothes but no ripped jeans, shorts, six-pocket pants and spaghetti strapped tops or cropped tops; also don't forget to bring your enrollment forms. For officially enrolled Grade 12 students, you know the drill, be in your Type A uniform. Thank you!

Similarly, enrollment is still going on for incoming Grade 11 and transfer students. Visit us at the SHS Principal's Office, Room 219, 2nd Flr., MPCF-LC Main Campus. Thank you.
