We, the BSTM 2 students and organizers of the event seminar held at LCC Mall Event Center 2, Legazpi City entitled, "𝗕𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿” would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to our guest speakers, guests/faculty members, to our organizers, sponsors, and especially to our instructor Ms. Cedriene Danielle Quinto who made this event possible.

We are deeply honored and will be forever grateful to our resource speakers, Ms. Cristina Agapita Pacres-the Legazpi City Supervising Tourism Officer, Ms. Nhing Paraguya-President Ceo & marketing sales director of RQT. Mr. Billy Balin-the Supervising Tourism Officer at Provincial Tourism Culture and the Arts Office (PTCAO) and Mr. Arnaldo lovino-a Bicolano Artist, a Sustainable Tourism Advocate, and an inspiring content creator who shared their invaluable insights, experiences, and expertise as a Resource Speaker during the event.

Congratulations to all the Dance and Singing Competition winners during the Tourism Conference with the theme, "Tourism Industry: A Countless Journey, Teeming with Golden Opportunity". Mabuhay!

As the tourism industry recovers from the impact of COVID-19, it is crucial to understand what lies ahead of us, and what opportunities this pandemic brought to us.

Last December 09, 2022, the 4th Year BS Tourism Management Students of Southern Luzon Technological College Foundation, Inc. (SLTCFI), organized their first face-to-face tourism conference with the theme, "Tourism Industry: A Countless Journey, Teeming with Golden Opportunity". Held at the Concourse Convention Center, Legazpi City, Albay.

We are honored to be joined by some of the industry experts in the province of Albay. Hon. Dorothy Fernandez Colle, the Chief Provincial Tourism Officer of the Provincial Tourism, Culture, and Arts Office-Albay, discussed tourism updates in the province, the Albay Tourism Circuits, it's marketing strategy to reboot the industry and the growth in the tourist arrivals in the post-pandemic era.

Occupational Safety and Health, were the next topic of our second Resource Speaker, Mr. John Carl Quinto. The importance of awareness, safety, and security from work hazards were the highlights of his presentation. This provides participants with advanced knowledge of risk management at the workplace.

We are also privileged with the presence of the Regional Director of the Department of Tourism Region 5, Hon. Herbie Aguas, SLTCFI President/CEO Madam Rosemarie Quinto-Rey, the Vice President for Academic Affairs Ms. Lydia B. Lozano, Vice President for Administration Ms. Honelet S. Bertis, the Program Head of the College of Tourism Management - Prof. Rachel Abion, Dean of College of Computer Studies - Prof. Joan Pavia, the faculty staff of CTM, and administrative staff of SLTCFI.

Lastly, this event won't be possible without the generosity of our sponsors from both the public and private sectors, and the support of different individuals to make this event a success.
