Due to prevailing circumstances, please be informed that classes at the Tertiary Level will be conducted in-person on Mondays and Tuesdays, followed by online synchronous sessions from Wednesday to Saturday. Furthermore, the College of Law and Graduate School will transition to an Online Synchronous Modality effective Tuesday, April 28, 2026, until further notice.
Office operations for external clients will remain open from Monday to Thursday.

In anticipation of the impending Transport Strike scheduled on April 21-22, 2026, classes at all levels at UST-Legazpi will transition to the Online Synchronous Modality on the said dates. In-person classes for all levels will resume on Thursday, April 23, 2026.

SIRIKLABAN 2026 | 16 aspirants file candidacy for Siriklaban 2026 election
The University of Santo TomasβLegazpi Commission on Elections released the official list of aspirants for Siriklaban 2026, with a total of 16 students from different departments.
For the Supreme Student Council, three (3) candidates filed their candidacy for the positions of president, vice president, and business manager.
For the departmental councils, in the College of Arts, Sciences, and Education (CASE), two (2) applicants filed for the positions of president and business manager, while only one applicant filed for vice president and secretary, for a total of seven (7) applicants.
The College of Business Management and Accountancy (CBMA) also has a total of six (6) students aspiring for positions: one each for vice president, treasurer, auditor, and public relations officer, while two (2) applicants are running for business manager.
Meanwhile, aspiring officers from the College of Engineering, Architecture and Fine Arts (CEAFA) and the College of Health Sciences (CHS) were not included in the announcement of the electoral commission, implying that no candidates applied from these departments.

UST-Legazpi announces an Academic Break for Basic Education, Tertiary, and the College of Law from March 30 (Monday) to April 4, 2026 (Saturday), to allow for reflection and spiritual renewal.

Due to the impending National Transport Strike scheduled for March 26 to 27, 2026, Basic Education classes will transition to Online Synchronous Learning on Thursday, March 26, followed by Asynchronous Learning on Friday, March 27. The Tertiary, College of Law and Graduate School will conduct Online Synchronous classes from March 26 (Thursday) to March 28 (Saturday), 2026.
Please be advised that all office operations will continue as usual. Be guided accordingly.

In view of the impending National Transport Strike on Thursday, March 19, 2026, please be advised that in-person classes at all levels at UST-Legazpi will transition to an Online Synchronous Learning Modality on that date.
Furthermore, all examinations in the College of Law scheduled for this date will be rescheduled. Students are advised to wait for further announcements from the Dean's Office regarding new schedules.
University office operations, however, will proceed as usual.
