THE NDSC GREEN SHARKS
Notre Dame of Salaman College proudly introduces the GREEN SHARKS, the new Official Athletic Moniker of NDSC.
The Green Shark mascot was intentionally designed to depart from the usual fierce and intimidating image associated with sharks. Instead, it carries a friendly, confident, energetic, and approachable aura—reflecting the kind of athletic spirit NDSC seeks to promote: competitive without hostility, strong without intimidation, and determined while remaining grounded in respect and sportsmanship.
Its bright expression and welcoming smile give the mascot its distinct personality. It is a shark that represents strength and confidence while remaining relatable to the entire NDSC community.
At the heart of the design is the TEAM NDSC jersey. More than an athletic uniform, it represents belonging. Whenever the Green Shark takes the court, field, or any arena of competition, it carries one name and represents one community—TEAM NDSC. The green and white colors further reinforce the identity and pride of Notre Dame of Salaman College.
The mascot’s hand gesture carries a special meaning. It symbolizes confidence, readiness, positivity, and the assurance that we are ready for the challenge. It complements the shark’s friendly personality—a simple gesture that says, “We’re good. We’re ready. Let’s go.”
The GREEN SHARKS represent athletes who are strong yet respectful, competitive yet gracious, and confident yet grounded.
This is more than a new mascot.
This is the face of TEAM NDSC in athletics.
