𝗕𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗼 𝗡𝗛𝗦 𝗕𝗮𝗴𝘀 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝗦𝗧𝗠𝗙 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱

Bolusao National High School (BNHS) proudly showcased academic excellence in the District Science, Technology, and Mathematics Fair (STMF) held today, September 18, at Lawaan Central Elementary School, bringing home multiple awards in the Damath Competition, Science Quiz Bee, and Poster Making Contest.

BNHS dominated the Damath boards after clinching first place across all grade levels, outsmarting competitors from Lawaan National School of Craftsmanship and Home Industries (LNSCHI) and Divine Child Academy (DCA). The champions who will represent the Lawaan District in the upcoming Division STMF are, namely: Kylle I. Dacuno, Grade 7; Amber Q. Cabuquit, Grade 8; Jenny Paula B. Abanador, Grade 9; Lorne Arpol B. Abanador, Grade 10.

Moreover, in the Science Quiz Bee, BNHS participants also earned remarkable placements, proving that their excellence goes beyond mathematics. The results are as follows: Nizel Abanador – Grade 7, 3rd Place; Rhian Mae M. Ediza – Grade 8, 2nd Place; Ariane Sherly T. Quiñal – Grade 9, 3rd Place; and, Aiken Bryce T. Rosaldo – Grade 10, 2nd Place.

In addition, Rhaven Mae De Leon showcased artistic talent and creativity by securing 3rd Place in the Science Poster Making Contest, adding another feather to BNHS’s cap.

Their success was made possible through the dedication of their coaches, Victorio L. Elacion Jr. (Damath) and Josephine J. Gade (Science Quiz Bee and Poster Making).

The multiple victories in the District STMF highlights BNHS’s strong foundation in academics and its commitment to developing well-rounded students equipped with critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

With the Damath team set to compete at the Division level, and the Science Quiz Bee and Poster Making achievers bringing honor to their school and community, BNHS continues to inspire excellence among its learners.

Bolusao National High School (BNHS) emerged victorious in the District Science, Technology, and Mathematics Fair (STMF) Damath Competition held today, September 18, at Lawaan Central Elementary School, securing first place in all grade levels from 7 to 10.

The winning students who brought pride to the school are, namely: Kylle I. Dacuno, Grade 7; Amber Q. Cabuquit, Grade 8; Jenny Paula A. Abanador, Grade 9; and, Lorne Arpol B. Abanador, Grade 10.

The team was trained and guided by their coach, Mr. Victorio L. Elacion Jr., whose mentorship and dedication played a vital role in the students’ success.

With this achievement, BNHS will represent the Lawaan District in the upcoming Division STMF, where they will compete against the best from other districts in Eastern Samar.

The school community celebrated the victory, recognizing it as another testament to BNHS’s strong commitment to academic excellence and holistic student development.

Their performances had served as testament of the hardwork and dedication of the students together with their teachers. With their worth-applauding presentations, the English Month Celebration this year has truly reached its zenith.

𝗕𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗼 𝗘𝗦, 𝗡𝗛𝗦 𝗸𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗼𝗳𝗳 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗱𝗮 𝗘𝘀𝗸𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗮 '𝟮𝟰

Bolusao Elementary School (BES) and Bolusao National High School (BNHS) collaborated to conduct the Brigada Eskwela Kick-Off Program today, July 22.

The first part of the program was a parade led by BES and BNHS marching bands. In the parade were the teachers of BES and BNHS headed by Jean I. Gandia and Ban Ariel F. Hilvano, respectively; Brgy. Bolusao LGU spearheaded by Hon. Federico E. Abud; Brgy. Bolusao Sangguniang Kabataan headed by Hon. Marvinus C. Dacuno; SPTA, represented by Gina Gacita for BES, and GPTA, represented by Purisima Dacuno for BNHS. The event ended with the signing of the Manifesto of Support by the attending stakeholders.

The Brigada Eskwela program is a week-long nationwide activity conducted yearly to encourage the community to work together to create a safe and conducive learning environment for students in preparation for the opening of classes. The program for this year is set this week, July 22–27, 2024.

The Eastern Samar Division Office (DO), through the initiative of Dr. Gorgonio G. Diaz, Schools Division Superintendent (SDS), has officially brought Project DONss (Delivery of Notable Services to Schools) to Lawaan District, yesterday, March 12. The convention, held at the Lawaan National School of Craftsmanship and Home Industries (LNSCHI) ALS-EST building, was attended by other DO personnel, along with the teachers of the district and its In-Charge, Oscar G. Sabarillo.
