WORK AND CLASSES SUSPENDED IN SELECT AREAS ON AUGUST 13

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 125, work in government offices and classes at all levels in public and private schools in the following areas are suspended starting 3:00 p.m. on August 13, 2026:

📍 Bataan
📍 Bulacan
📍 Pampanga
📍 Tarlac
📍 Nueva Ecija
📍 Cavite
📍 Batangas
📍 Rizal
📍 Laguna
📍 Quezon

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

The suspension of work for private companies and offices is left to the discretion of their respective heads.

Layunin ng kasunduan na mapalakas ang koordinasyon at pagtutulungan sa ROTC Program, gayundin ang patuloy na paghubog sa mga kabataang may disiplina, pananagutan, kakayahang mamuno, at malasakit sa paglilingkod sa bayan.

Patuloy ang Pamahalaang Bayan ng Laurel sa pagsusulong ng mga programang nagbibigay-diin sa disiplina, pamumuno, serbisyo, at paghubog sa kabataang Laureleño.

MIDTERM EXAM ADVISORY

In view of the Public Advisory of the Municipal Government of Laurel, face-to-face classes at Colegio de Laurel are suspended on Monday, August 10, 2026, due to the continuing inclement weather.

The rescheduled Midterm Examinations originally scheduled on August 6, 7, and 8 shall likewise be postponed due to the suspension of face-to-face classes.

The examinations shall resume following the rescheduled examination schedule once conditions permit.

Students are advised to stay tuned for further announcements and updates regarding the examination schedule.

𝐀𝐍𝐍𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓

In view of the suspension of face-to-face classes tomorrow, August 10, 2026 (Monday), Colegio de Laurel will implement Alternative Delivery of Learning (ADL) to ensure the continuity of learning.

Faculty members will provide appropriate learning activities through online, asynchronous, modular, or other suitable modalities, depending on the prevailing conditions and accessibility of students.

Deadlines for ADL-related activities shall be relaxed, considering the prevailing weather conditions. Students are encouraged to prioritize their safety and well-being.

Please coordinate with your respective faculty members and regularly check your official class communication channels for instructions.

𝐈𝐧 𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐬, the suspended Midterm Examinations from the past days will resume starting tomorrow, Monday, August 10, until Wednesday, August 12, 2026.

The following rescheduled examination dates shall be observed:

📅 Aug. 07 → Aug. 11, Tue
📅 Aug. 08 → Aug. 12, Wed

Please note that the courses/subjects and examination times originally scheduled will remain the same. Only the examination dates will be moved according to the schedule above.

For CDLians who are still affected by the weather disturbance and cannot safely proceed to the examination venue may defer their examination. Please coordinate directly with your respective Faculty-in-Charge regarding your circumstances and the appropriate arrangement.
