Malugod na nakilahok ang mga mag-aaral ng Lasam Academy, Inc. sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika 2026 na may temang “Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon.”

Bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang, isinagawa ang iba’t ibang gawaing pampanitikan tulad ng Pagsusulat ng Tula at Pagsusulat ng Sanaysay na naglalayong maipakita ng mga mag-aaral ang kanilang husay sa pagsulat, pagkamalikhain, at paggamit ng Wikang Filipino bilang daluyan ng kaalaman at impormasyon.

| 𝗞𝗶𝘆𝗮𝗽𝗼 𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗟𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗺

Persistent rains brought by Tropical Storm Kiyapo forced the suspension of afternoon classes across Lasam beginning 1 p.m. today, July 24, as local authorities moved to safeguard learners amid worsening weather conditions.

The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) announced that the suspension covers Kindergarten to Grade 12 in all public and private schools throughout the municipality.

The move comes as Kiyapo continues to bear down on Northern Luzon, with Cagayan among the areas under tropical cyclone wind signals as the storm intensifies and moves closer to the region.

Authorities urged residents to remain vigilant, take necessary precautions, and closely monitor official weather bulletins and local advisories as conditions develop.
