From being a Southville Tourism student to becoming a young professional, Ms. Jona Mari C. Rivera is a testament to how a Tourism Management education can open doors to diverse career opportunities.

All voices matter whether spoken or through hand gestures. Sign language is used across cultures, and a part of one's identity. Through the International Sign Language Day we celebrate the recognition of rights and promoting equality for deaf individuals. Communication is a fundamental human right that needs to be exercised and given acknowledgement of, no matter what language or form.

Together, let's create a world that is inclusive, acknowledges diversity, and doesn't make anyone feel small just because they're different. May we continue to promote inclusion, understanding, and equal opportunities for deaf and impaired hearing individuals. And, let us foster a community where everyone's voice is heard and acknowledged 🤍
