On Gaku: Our Sound (2019) is a rotoscoped feature film about some delinquent high schoolers who, on a whim, decide to start a band.

Directed by Kenji Iwaisawa, the film took seven years to produce and was completed with over 40,000 hand-drawn frames. We have invited Director Iwaisawa to talk about the creative process behind film that truly exemplifies artistry and a love for the animation medium.
