The Philippine Board of Emergency Medicine recently held its second faculty development workshop for the year, focusing on the development of high-quality multiple-choice questions (MCQs), the benchmarking of minimal passing level (MPL), Quality Assurance sessions in POCUS practice and the outlining of Entrustable Professional Activities (EPA’s) in Emergency Medicine.

Once again, renowned experts from the University of the Philippines Health Professions Education, Dr. Christian Wilson Turalde and Dr. Karl Separa, served as resource speakers, delivering insightful lectures on educational assessment and various evaluation tools.

The workshop was attended by Training Officers and Assistant Training Officers from both accredited and applicant Emergency Medicine training programs across the Philippines.

This successful educational initiative was made possible through the support of UNILAB and the Philippine College of Emergency Medicine.
