[ACADEME–INDUSTRY RESEARCH COLLABORATION]

The Cavite State University (CvSU) Department of Animal Science continues to advance its research agenda through strong partnerships with industry stakeholders. Reinforcing this commitment, Arca Galleon Agriventures, Inc. has extended its support to a collaborative research project titled "Effect of Perfect Digest on the Production Performance of Broiler Chickens under Heat Stress".

The study is spearheaded by Dr. Mariedel L. Autriz as Project Leader, alongside Co-Project Leaders Asst. Prof. Karl Louisse D. Obispo and Asst. Prof. Ma. Cecille B. Anuada and Mr. Kim Gerald C. Pernis as Science Research Assistant.

The collaboration underscores the vital role of academe–industry partnerships in driving innovation and addressing practical challenges in the livestock and poultry sectors. By combining academic expertise with industry resources, the project supports the development of cost-effective and sustainable production strategies.

Moreover, the initiative creates meaningful opportunities for students and young researchers to engage in applied research, equipping them with hands-on experience and strengthening the university’s contribution to agricultural development.
