The Office of President through Memorandum Circular No. 131, directed government offices to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements and for schools to implement alternative learning modes for classes and learning continuity measures at all levels in the National Capital Region and other mentioned provinces on Thursday, August 20, 2026.

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 131, government offices are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on August 20, 2026:

Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes and learning continuity measures at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

Contract of Service (COS) and Job Order (JO) workers placed under alternative work arrangements shall be paid their corresponding wages or salaries, subject to applicable rules and regulations.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

Ang pamunuan ng Captain Albert Aguilar National High School (CAANHS) ay patuloy na nagsusulong ng isang ligtas, disiplinado, at mapagkalingang kapaligiran sa pamamagitan ng adbokasiyang "Ligtas na Paaralan, Ligtas na Komunidad." Layunin nitong mapangalagaan ang kaligtasan, kapakanan, at kinabukasan ng bawat isa—lalo na ng ating mga mag-aaral—sa pamamagitan ng sama-samang pagkilos, pagtutulungan, at pananagutan ng buong komunidad.

🔴 PARA SA MGA G**O AT KAWANI
Patuloy na sundin at ipatupad ang mga alituntunin at patakaran ng Department of Education, kabilang ang mga kaugnay na DepEd Orders sa School Safety, Child Protection Policy, at Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM).
Panatilihing malinis, maayos, ligtas, at kaaya-aya ang mga silid-aralan at iba pang pasilidad upang maging angkop sa pagkatuto ng lahat.
Agad na iulat sa pamunuan ang anumang sitwasyon o panganib upang maagapan at mapanatili ang kaligtasan ng buong komunidad ng paaralan.
Magpakita ng malasakit at pag-unawa sa mga mag-aaral na may personal o pampamilyang suliranin na maaaring makaapekto sa kanilang pag-aaral.
Isabuhay ang positibong disiplina sa pamamagitan ng paggabay, paghimok, at pagbibigay ng mabuting halimbawa sa mga mag-aaral.
🔴 PARA SA MGA MAGULANG AT MGA TAGAPAG-ALAGA
Gabayan ang inyong mga anak sa pagpapakita ng mabuting asal, disiplina, at paggalang sa kapwa sa loob at labas ng paaralan.
Makipag-ugnayan agad sa paaralan o sa kinauukulang awtoridad kung may suliranin o sitwasyong maaaring makaapekto sa kaligtasan at kapakanan ng inyong anak.
Maglaan ng oras upang pakinggan at unawain ang inyong anak, at hikayatin silang maging bukas sa pagbabahagi ng kanilang saloobin.
Makiisa sa paaralan sa pagpapanatili ng isang ligtas at mapagkalingang kapaligiran para sa lahat ng mag-aaral.
Ang gabay, pagmamahal, at mabuting halimbawa ng mga magulang ay mahalagang pundasyon sa paghubog ng responsable, disiplinado, at mabuting mamamayan.

Sumunod sa mga alituntunin ng paaralan at palaging magpakita ng paggalang sa inyong mga g**o, kaklase, at iba pang miyembro ng komunidad.
Maging mapagmatyag at piliin ang mga kaibigan at gawaing makatutulong sa inyong pag-unlad at magandang kinabukasan.
Huwag matakot magsumbong sa inyong mga magulang, g**o, o awtoridad kung may naranasan o nasaksihang pananakit, pananakot, o anumang kahina-hinalang pangyayari.
Gamitin ang teknolohiya at social media nang responsable at may paggalang. Maging mapanuri sa impormasyong ibinabahagi at iwasan ang cyberbullying at fake news.
Pagbutihin ang pag-aaral, linangin ang inyong mga talento, at makiisa sa mga gawaing nagbibigay ng positibong ambag sa paaralan at komunidad.
Ang paggalang, disiplina, katapatan, at pananagutan ay mga pagpapahalagang magdadala sa inyo tungo sa tagumpay at magandang kinabukasan.

“Zero Tolerance: SDO Las Piñas Schools on Alert After Emergency Safety Meeting”

Captain Albert Aguilar National High School (CAANHS), through its School Head Mr. Apollo D. De Guzman, joined fellow school leaders of the Schools Division Office of Las Piñas in an emergency meeting convened by Schools Division Superintendent Melody P. Cruz on August 1, 2026, to reaffirm the Division's unwavering commitment to ensuring safe, secure, and learner-centered school environments.

The conference was attended by DepEd NCR Regional Director and Concurrent Officer-in-Charge, Assistant Secretary for Operations, Asec. Jocelyn DR Andaya, who underscored the Department's firm stand against all forms of violence in schools. Stressing that "one life taken is a life too many," Asec. Andaya called for strengthened collaboration among school officials, educators, parents, local government units, law enforcement agencies, and the entire community to uphold a culture of safety and vigilance.

The meeting highlighted the immediate reinforcement of school safety and security measures, proactive risk prevention, and coordinated community engagement to ensure that every learner is protected and every school remains a place where education can flourish in a secure and supportive environment.
