Model United Nations Achievements of LPsci

Since the successful conduct of the School-Based Model United Nations (MUN) Conference in November 2025, Las Piñas City National Science High School (LPsci) has significantly strengthened its culture of diplomacy, global awareness, and student leadership.

Building on this foundation, the school implemented a Collaborative MUN Policy Resolution Writing Program for Grades 9 and 10 from January to March 2026. This initiative enhanced students’ competencies in policy analysis, international relations, negotiation, and academic writing, aligning with real-world global governance practices.

As a result of these capacity-building efforts, LPsci proudly expanded its presence to the national MUN stage, with student delegates participating in prestigious conferences such as:

Tagpinas Model United Nations 2025 – December 2025
Ateneo Model United Nations XV – March 2026
Zobel Model United Nations 2026 – April 2026
12th De La Salle Model United Nations Conference – April 2026

These engagements mark a significant milestone for Lapiscians, showcasing their readiness to engage in high-level discourse on global issues and collaborate with student leaders from across the country.

Indeed, this is another milestone for LPsci empowering learners in diplomacy, negotiation, and leadership, and preparing them to become globally competent citizens.

We proudly congratulate the official delegates of Las Piñas City National Science High School for their outstanding performance in the 15th Philippine Geography Olympiad (PGO) 2026, held on February 28 to March 1, 2026 at the University of the Philippines Diliman and organized by the UP Geography Society.

The PGO is a prestigious national competition featuring both written and field examinations, testing students’ excellence in geographic knowledge, analysis, and real-world application.

Our Achievements:
• James Christopher D. Ramirez – Finalist, Top 6 (just few steps away from qualifying for the International Geography Olympiad in Turkey)
• Daniel Angelo F. Peña – Semi-Finalist, Rank 17
• Trevis Emor S. Ebeo – Semi-Finalist, Rank 19
• Jude Isaac S. James – Poster Competition Presenter

In the Poster Competition, with Jude Isaac S. James as the main presenter, our team proudly secured 4th Place.

These accomplishments reflect the discipline, analytical thinking, and global awareness of our learners—hallmarks of a true Science High School education.
