Batik is a traditional wax-resist art from Indonesia which uses melted wax, color dye, and cloth. It is done by drawing with melted wax through the tjanting on the cloth. When the wax dries, the rest of the cloth is dyed with the desired colors. Then during rinsing, the wax is removed off from the cloth, leaving an intricate design on the colored cloth.

In this video, I tried to make a batik-inspired artwork which uses only glue, paint, and paper. I've done a batik on cloth before, so this one is different because you can't rinse or peel off the dried glue from the paper.

Recommendations:
- I think it would be better to use white glue than gel glue or try glitter glue for a different feel.
- Use thick paper or board.
- Make sure that the glue is completely dry before painting on the spaces.
