✨ A new year begins, and with it comes a renewed commitment to equality. ✨
As we welcome 2026, we ask an important question: How do we promote gender equality in our school community? 🎥💜

In this meaningful video, we hear insightful perspectives from our education leaders and newly hired teachers as they share how gender equality and gender sensitivity are practiced and strengthened within the school setting.

🎙️ Public School District Supervisor – Cluster 2 and OIC-Principal Dr. Ma. Teresa B. Delos Santos discuss how gender equality is promoted across the school community through inclusive policies, leadership, and shared responsibility.

👩‍🏫 Our new teachers of LPCNSHS–Manuyo Campus also share their valuable insights:

Ms. Jenilyn O. Alvarez on integrating gender sensitivity in her lessons

Ms. Jennybabe Partoza on understanding and respecting gender differences

Ms. Chona G. Canillas on the true meaning of gender equality

Together, their voices remind us that gender equality starts in education—through awareness, respect, and inclusive learning environments where everyone feels valued and empowered.

“It is time that we all see gender as a spectrum instead of two sets of opposing ideals. We should stop defining each other by what we are not, and start defining ourselves by who we are.” – Emma Watson

Getting ready. Let’s all start the year right. See y’all Monday folks 😊
Blessed and prosperous 2026 to all! 🎉

Ease in. The mind, like the body, needs warm-ups too.

As we enter the first work week of the year, don’t feel pressured to sprint. Transitioning from rest to routine requires recalibration especially for students, teachers, and lifelong learners.

In Educational Psychology, this aligns with the principle of cognitive readiness: we learn and perform best when our mental, emotional, and executive systems are re-engaged intentionally.

✨ Before diving into tasks, allow moments for reflection, recalibration, and small wins.

💬 How are you easing in this week? A gentle to-do list? A quiet cup of coffee? A reminder that you’re allowed to begin slowly?

MALIGAYANG BAGONG TAON 2026

𝗥𝗜𝗭𝗔𝗟 𝗗𝗔𝗬 | 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗮𝘀 𝗣𝗶ñ𝗮𝘀 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆

Today, we honor Dr. José Rizal, whose life, writings, and ideals continue to inspire generations of Filipinos. His unwavering love for country and belief in the power of education remind us that true freedom begins with an enlightened mind.

As we commemorate Rizal Day, the SDO Las Piñas remains steadfast in nurturing learners who think critically, act with integrity, and serve with patriotism—values that Rizal lived and died for. Through quality, inclusive, and future-ready education, we carry forward his legacy in every classroom.
