Please take note that If your child has not yet joined their Google Classroom, kindly refer to the previous announcement posted here in our BALP Channel for the corresponding Google Classroom codes. Please ensure that your child joins the correct class to receive announcements and learning materials.

Students are encouraged to regularly check their respective Google Classrooms for announcements, learning materials, review activities, and assigned tasks from their teachers.

Today, June 12, Brentwood Academy of Las Piñas joins the nation in commemorating Philippine Independence Day.

On this day in 1898, General Emilio Aguinaldo proclaimed our freedom in Kawit, Cavite, and the Philippine flag was proudly raised for the first time. This historic moment reminds us of the courage, sacrifice, and love for country shown by our heroes.

At Brentwood Academy, we believe it is important for our students to understand and value our history. Independence Day is more than a holiday — it is a celebration of our identity as Filipinos. The three stars and a sun in our flag represent Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, united as one nation. Since 1962, June 12 has stood as a symbol of our hard-won freedom.

As we honor this day, may we teach our children to be proud Filipinos who remember the past, respect those who fought for our freedom, and work together for a better future.
