Designed for Grade 11 and Grade 12 students, this activity invites you to discover how mathematics can shape meaning, beauty, and inspiration. 𝐄𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩𝐬, with each group designing and creating their own parol following 𝐚 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐭 12𝐱12 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬 𝐬𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 for the parol itself, and 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒆𝒙𝒄𝒆𝒆𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒊𝒏 8 𝒊𝒏𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒊𝒕𝒔 𝒕𝒂𝒊𝒍, 𝒊𝒇 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒔𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒎𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒐𝒏𝒆 (𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒕𝒂𝒊𝒍 𝒊𝒔 𝑶𝑷𝑻𝑰𝑶𝑵𝑨𝑳, 𝒃𝒖𝒕 𝑹𝑬𝑪𝑶𝑴𝑴𝑬𝑵𝑫𝑬𝑫).
